But the wife of ESPN columnist Bill Simmons couldn't possibly keep quiet in the wake of Jamie Lynn Spears getting knocked up. Here's her professional take on it:
My favorite part of this fiasco is that Britney is going to be an aunt and possibly even the godmother. Somehow this is scarier than her being a mom.
At least moms can lose custody -- if you're an aunt, you're always an aunt and this means Brit will always be around during the holidays. "Uh-oh, hide the cigarettes, Aunt Britney just pulled into the driveway!"

I find it truly troubling that any one person in this World has the nerve to say anything rude in regards to Britney and her behavior. In the beginning, it was understandable, as it seemed as though it was intentional. Now that we have all witnessed so many unexplainable events, in which have become truly painful to watch, I would think some heart felt compassion would be more in the line of what is needed here. I mean, why the hell do you think this has come to be anyway? Look at her life, her age, her hormones from having those two beautiful boys, whom are nothing close to being a 'mistake', as was stated in a gossip article. It seems pretty easy for people to sit and judge, comment, accuse and GOSSIP about someone who has accomplished more in her teens then most could even dream about in their lifetime. She obviously has a lot more going on inside her, then just being a rebel and doing what ever she pleases. Come on people, maybe if everyone would lay off the negative and start realizing that Britney is really in a bad place and needs some breathing room and some Love, before she falls off the edge. You can see it in her eyes, hear it in her cries and for God sacks Her Mother of all people, playing it all off like she cares about anything other than the money. If people want to Gossip, they should be doing it about Lynn Spears, the ungrateful, selfish, money hungry, B**tch. If she was truly concerned about her daughter, was any sort of a loving Mother, she is probably one of the only people who could have any chance at reaching Britney and saving her life, besides Britney herself. Instead, she is going around setting up all her own little personal interviews, which I'm sure she isn't doing for free, so she can air all of her daughters dirty laundry, the way she wants it to be seen. Unbelievable!!!
Britney, you are a beautiful person, you have experienced and accomplished so many great things in your life, been a hero and an idol to so many people in the world. I only wish you could see just what it is that I am speaking of and feel it inside your heart. No Matter how successful one becomes, no matter what World Record One Can Break or How Many Olympic Medals One Will Win, Life is by far the hardest thing for us all to conquer and stay in control of, happily, forever. Deep inside of us all, you included, we can conquer and defeat all that seems so scary and overpowering. You just have to believe in yourself, and know that only you can make your life what you want it to be, others are merely blessed that they get to share it with you. There are a lot of f*cked up people in this world, that will do what ever it takes to get what they want, except work hard for it, like you have. Inside they are just as scared and overwhelmed as the rest of us, but they will get what they give at some point in their lives. You are better than that, you can be what and who you want, if in your heart you are true to yourself. Please Britney, reach inside your soul, look at those boys and see their need for you, its time for you to conquer and take control of your life in a positive way, so those boys can be with their Mommy. Their True Mommy..
