WOW! I heard the news on the radio yesterday and I was just checkin it out to see if it was really true! I guess it is. What gets to me is that she is supposed to be a role model. I know alot of little girls who look up to this girl, and how are you supposed to explain her getting pregnant to kids? Who can kids look up to anymore? I don't understand. You know, I believe in the bible and God and I think that Jamie needs alot of God in her life! But since this has happened, she should take care of the baby, love it, learn from it, raise it in the church, and things will be good! I hope everything works out for her and her family. I hope the father does his part, and I wish them all the best of luck!!

I do agree with Dave. I don't think that deserve any type of attention with all their negative influences they put out there for today's youth. I am a mother of two young girls and I be damn if I let them idolize any whores. I think the man needs to be put in jail and the mother of young spears held responsible for her daughters actions. As for OH Britiany that chick needs to be dropped hard core and forgotten!

ok first off yeah she made a bad choice by thinking something like this couldn't happen to her and yeah i have a lot of mixed feelings about this since she's my age but its her choice not the publics or anyone elses she had sex and got pregnant and she wants to keep the baby i think that shows something
I don't think you people should be calling her a whore because i'm sure some of you have done some stupid things in your life. so let her make the decission and Olivia don't be calling people whores if you don't know them.

Wow I don't usually read this sh*t...but anyone who thinks that a 16 year old having a baby is a good thing..needs to get their damn head outta their ass!! I agree with that Dave guy....they are both "skanks" and seriously should be forgotten about...sure who are we to judge and all that crap...but those 2 girls were supposed to be role models for young children!!! You think teenage pregnancy is high now LOL...keep those two "skanks" in the spotlight and see what happens...

Actually the age of consent is different in each state. For instance, in Louisiana it happens to be 17!! Just a little FYI for all of you age of consent experts.

Actually, there are very few states that have age 16 as the legal age of consent.
Louisanna is as Deb said above, 17. ANY sex with ANY minor by someone OVER 19 is RAPE in Louisanna (I guess 18 years is OK).
In California, where most speculate the act occured, the legal age of consent is 18. Any sex by any person OVER 18 with someone UNDER 18 is rape. CA law does provide however, that if the difference in age does not exceed 3 years, then it is a misdemeanor.

This should come as no surprise to anyone. Guys 18 and over who are dating a "Spears" girl are going to have sex. Britney is all about sex. Evidently, so is her baby sister. The Nickelodeon Special could be titled "Sex with the Spears.'"

I don't think jamie is a slut only because she went and got pregnant. my 3 older sisters got pregnant at around 17yrs old and they stayed with their men for along time. I'm 21 but I had sex when i was young. I was 16 at the time and he was 20. we had been dating for a year before we had sex. We have been together for the last 7, almost eight years now.
