I'm Pro-Sex Education- What teenager is comfy talking about vaginas, and penises with their parents? What kid wants to see their parent teach them how to put on a condom, esp after that embarrassing caught-your-parents-in-the-act moment? Abstinence eduction is not the right way to go about things. It's not about "having" sex, it's about how to PROTECT yourself. This also includes STDs, STIs, and PREGNANCY. On top of that, the pill regulates your period and reduces menstrual cramps. anyway! So now not only are you protected, but depending on what kind of BC you're not, it can also regulate your period- and lower cramps! Where's the down-side? My kid is learning how to protect themselves?

i'm a 100% whit karen his mother dont is a god example for her because what mother change your aditud only for sail discs that is what she did whit bridney and i'm only 15 years old im from dominican republic in i thinck that if u let us do what whe whant to do the word is going to be a bad please to live….now you can see in tv that the mens are maried whit a man, the girlis maried whit girls…

Ok, so my opinion......and it is an opinion(so dont get all defensive) is that why is it anybody's buisness but her and her boyfriends?? if they thought they were old enough to have sex, then they are old enough to make the decission as to whether or not keep the baby...and for the idiot saying "who lets there kid have a baby at 16" its not about her letting her, its jamies decission. you cant force someone to have an abortion...trust me my mom tried to make me have one.......but the doctor told her she couldnt. now im 4 months pregnant and 17....but it doesnt make me trash.....and people need to quit callin her a "bad role model"....why dont you people quit making celebs your kids role models and be one yourself!! quit depending on famous people to teach your kids right and realize that your kids are mainly influenced by you!!!!

She's not the first 16 year old to get pregnant by her 19 year old boyfriend! Accidents happen, and yea given her family history makes it a little worse but ever think that she needs him as an outlet to get away from her family? Could that be why she's living with him? yea, it could.
And for all of you claiming he should be charged with rape, there arent enough words to tell you how ridiculous that is, WHY WOULD SHE EVER accuse her 19 year old boyfriend of RAPE??? The parents are okay with it, she lives with him its quite obvious they are going to have sex! They arent the only people in the world DOING IT!
I'm not saying its ok for her to be pregnant at 16 years old, im just saying it happens, and everyone is reacting as if they havent heard of anything like this in their lives.

You know what is wonderful with the United States of America. I will not watch her show again. Also, it is the right with every US citizen to simply turn the channel and stop buying into to the fact that this is OK. I bet this is a huge blow to the NICK empire to tell Kid what to eat, drink, wear, and who is cool. What is next Drake and Josh is gay. Totally sad. Wow .... kid role models are in short supply right now. I wish this young adult 2nd year teen all the luck and hope for a healthy child.

You know you are right. Viccom Empire this is. The life style of the rich and young. I wonder if the High School Muscial Star posing nude photos stole the spot light from this Empire. Bura Vesta and Viccom Empires are at war and the use these child stars as pawns is truly sad. I hope the parents single or not single look at this as example to not live their life.

Bleh... children shouldn't be having celebrity role models anyways. When I was a child my role models were (aside from parents, grandparents, and teachers/professors), Rosalind Franklin, Michael E. DeBakey (I met him a few times *TEENIEBOPPERSQUEEL*), and Albert Einstein, and I came out perfectly fine.
I find the reaction to this news amazingly stupid, especially those making remarks about the American culture and how it relates to this situation. Teenagers get pregnant all over the world. They get enough crap as it is, and sometimes just need support and proper guidance before they go on and do even more crap.
Also, the age of consent in Louisiana is 17, so this would legally be statutory rape.

948.09 Sexual intercourse with a child age 16 or older.
Whoever has sexual intercourse with a child who is not the defendant's spouse and who has attained the age of 16 years is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
This is Wisconsin state law.
Class A misdemeanor can carry a penalty up to 9 months in jail and up to $10,000 fine.
I know they're not in WI, but it would probably get Casey some jail time.

Never miss a moment to bash Bush-girls have been getting pregnant at 16 for many, many years. By now don't you think there has been enough sex education over the years that even the most moronic person knows what a condom is. In most cases it wouldn't matter if they had sex ed or not, they will do what they will do. Because of that, put the blame where the blame goes-on the parents. Why is Lynne letting her date at 13 1/2? And why isn't she being supervised more closely especially with a 19 year old. Idiot.

In the real world a 16 year old girl preggers by her 19 year old boyfriend would be looked down upon with varying degree of scorn. Trash, statutory rape possibly. Actually Britney and Jamie are taking after there mother, Lynne. Lynne and her husband have dropped the ball as parents, Britney has done the same, why would we think Jamie will be any different, it's too soon too tell, but by getting pregnant at the ripe ol' age of 16 (with a privileged life and all the birth control available), should give everyone a clue. There is a small chance she learned from Britney's mistake, but then again she is pregnant at 16, guess not.

give the girl a break. she was with the guy for 2 1/2 years. It wasnt like she was going around sleeping with every guy she could. It was with her boyfriend. Im sure half of you on here bitching about what a slut and disappointment she is had sex around the age is now. If anything we should be supporting her decision. She could have taken the easy way out and gotten an abortion like most teens do due to the fear of rejection and what others may think of them. but she decided to keep this baby knowing that it could, in fact, ruin her career. Im not saying that i do think its totally ok to have a baby at 16, but im just saying instead of bitching about how irresponsible she is and blah blah blah, we should be supporting her. Letting her know that these next few months are going to be tough but that were here for support and we believe she can make it. so lay off the girls back! shes already had enough to deal with.

FINALLY!!!!!! someone has said it! i couldnt agree more with Dana. I had a friend who got pregnant at the age of 17. She was the homecoming queen of our school, voted friendliest by her peers, went to church every sunday, and had a boyfriend for 4 years. After 3 years they began having sex and one night the condom broke causing her to become pregnant. Knowing the pregnancy in some way would ruin her reputation, she had the baby anyways. Throughout her pregnancy, people begged and pleaded to her to get an abortion and told her that she in no way would make it through this pregnancy. but she ignored all the negativity and went through it anyways. The point im trying to make here is just because the way Brittney is doesnt mean that Jaimie is the same. so leave the girl alone.
