Mother of Casey Aldridge Confirms: Jamie Lynn Spears is Pregnant!
Yes, Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant.
While we're speechless over this fact, the mother of Casey Aldridge - the Kevin Federline to Jamie Lynn's Britney, without the marriage - spoke exclusively to TMZ about her impending grandchild.
"We are aware of the recent interview regarding her and being pregnant, and we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn about the situation, Joyce Aldridge said. "Everything is fine."
She added that "Casey doesn't wish to speak out, but it would be wonderful when the time comes."
Casey Aldridge and Jamie Lynn Spears will soon be parents. Isn't that adorable?

Congrats, Casey can now be charged as as sexual preditor, can now serve jail time for having sex with an undraged girl, and will have to be listed on a national DATABASE as a sexual preditor for the rest of his life.

Hey Dave, totally depends on what state you are in. In Florida, 16 is the age of consent, and its completely legal as long as the 16 year old isn't with someone over 24. In other states, it depends on whether or not the parents press charges, as its consentual and not rape. Mama spears has said that they are shocked but happy, so, I'm assuming its totally okay with them.
I think people should be a little more concerned about the images that some of Hollywood's youth are portraying to our kids... Its totally okay for a 16 year old to be sleeping around, its okay to be pregnant at 16. She isn't even old enough to be done with high school! She believes she's mature enough to decide its time to have a baby!? Who are we telling our kids its okay to look up to?
December 19th, 2007 7:36 AM
no it is not wonderful that she is pregnant!!!! Are you kidding me!!! she is 16 and she is a role model to kids, whats this going to tell them, its ok to get pregnant at 16!!! no its not!! Jamie is too young. I did not expect this out of her.
December 19th, 2007 8:21 AM
no one is really shocked about this news. She is just like her sister. Both sisters should not be role model for anyone-Not kids and especially not moms, and that goes for mama Spears.
December 19th, 2007 8:35 AM
It doesn't come as a shock to me... look at the role model she has had.. Miss Britney!
To those who seem to think she's thrown her life away: I myself was a teen mom.. pregnant at 16 infact. It wasn't my parent's fault for not raising me right, it was my own stupidity for not protecting myself and thinking it wouldn't happen to me. So leave Lynne out of this.. she's got enough on her plate! My daughter is now 10 and she is a perfectly normal, well-adjusted kid.. and I didn't have the millions of dollars that Jamie has to raise the kid. Jamie has to do what's right for her and although you can state your opinion all you want, ultimately it is what she wants, not what the public wants her to do.
And the guy talking rape, you're an idiot! Not every case of "older guy gets younger girl pregnant" is a rape case! Some people actually have sex because they LOVE eachother!!
December 19th, 2007 8:47 AM
She's 16. She hasn't had enough life experience to know what "love" is. She's leading a jaded life if she thinks she's in love with this guy... she's in LUST with him. Thats all it boils down to. Lets face it, Its not aout the choices that Jamie made... its about the consequences this child is going to face. Especially to have every little mistake his or her mommy made being thrown into the public eye. Its going to be like 10 times worse for this kid than if it were just a regular teen.
And, if he were listed on the national registry, he'd be listed as a sexual offender, not a predator. Theres a difference. He's not going to be listed as that though, that Karen chick is right... she's 16, she's able to consent to have sex.
December 19th, 2007 8:47 AM
That is ridiculous!! He is 19, not 30. Wow, people are really crazy anymore. They are both kids and they made a bad choice. He didn't rape her!! WOW!!!
December 19th, 2007 8:57 AM
Christina, it's called statutory rape.
Look it up...
December 19th, 2007 9:04 AM
the rape thing is stupid, but my girl loves her and now will find out she is pregnant. Good role model for our children. Don't tell me she hasn't heard of birth control? I thought she was smarter than that. But she ain't any better than her big sister.
December 19th, 2007 9:05 AM
How many people are married or have parents that are 3 years or more difference in age? Lets be real.
December 19th, 2007 9:12 AM
Hey Jen, would it be OK if your 10 year old got pregnant as long as she loves the guy?
December 19th, 2007 9:20 AM
RAPE!!!
December 19th, 2007 9:26 AM
If they started having sex before she turned 16, yes, it could bring a statutory charge. But I doubt that anyone will bring charges because the age difference is within 3 years. Most times you have to be over 16 to consent to sex with someone over 21. If you are younger than 16 you cannot consent to sex with someone over 21.
Still, you'd think with her money and access to healthcare that she would have thought about birth control. Or he would have.
But, I suppose that this is really where Bush's "absintence only" sex-ed program gets us -kids who don't get all the information regarding protection wind up pregnant before they are ready.
December 19th, 2007 9:32 AM
Hey! I am happy for the couple. But to all you stupid people out there she is sixten. SIXTEEN IS AGE OF CONSENT!!!!! which means he can not be charged a sexual preditror and i doubt he raped her. If the parents wish to press charges he will not be listed as a preditor and doubt it will go through but they could list it as UNLAWFUL VOULUNTARY SEXUAL RELATIONS. I know this because I have a friend that is the same boat as Casey Aldridge and Jamie Lynn Spears. I may be only 18 years old but i know my stuff when it comes to it. My really good friend is a cop and he teaches me all the laws that i need to know or what i want to know. HE even says that Casey and Jamie are lucky to have each other and that Casey is NOT a sexual preditor. Luv ya!!

This year the USA has seen a rise in teenage pregnancies. Bush's "abstinence-only" is leading the country's next generation into young parenthood- how can anyone learn about sex if it's not taught. Mr. Stork retired long ago! As for Jamie, mistakes are made- she even said that she got herself into this position- I hope they work things out and raise this child well. I also hope Jamie, being such a role model to young kids, speaks out for PRO-SEX-EDUCATION. She has the power to influence kids what NOT to do.
As for Mrs.Lynne Spears- the last thing she should write is a parenting guide. She should have, at the very least, informed and given both Britney and Jamie of birth control!
December 19th, 2007 10:37 AM
that whole family is starting to make me sick. Who honestly lets a 16 year old have a child, and she's already 3 months into it! I don't care how much money she has, that's unacceptable. She's only 3 years older than my sister. Personally I think they should send that guy to jail or something to prove the point that this type of thing is against the law.
December 19th, 2007 10:38 AM
Leave her alone, she is having a kid, big whoop if she is younge. . i had my child younge, get over. Christys right, you guys have like highschool drama. Grow up. I wish her luck as well.
December 19th, 2007 10:39 AM
I LOVE HER ! shes so pretty! let her live!
December 19th, 2007 10:48 AM
This is NOT rape. A 16 y.o can have sex with a 19 y.o. It's 3 yrs difference. BIG DEAL! If the parents are in consent of the relationship- which Lynne is, then it's NOT RAPE. What if she was 19 and he was 16? Then what? Send the pregnant 19 y.o. to jail to say that this is "unacceptable." I know many young mothers who work out, w/o the finances of Jamie. Grow up. Shit happens.
December 19th, 2007 10:50 AM
It doesn't seem to me that anyone is having any trouble learning about sex, just because its not taught in schools. Hence, the trouble of Jamie Lynn.
I don't need a school to teach my kids about things that I should be teaching them, its called parenting! Furthermore, what needs to be taught is morality, sin and accountability. No one fears God anymore. Everyone is live and let live, and this is the result.
December 19th, 2007 10:51 AM
She's too young to be pregnant. I have a 14-year-old daughter, and trust me, I would not want her to be pregnant at 16 years of age. Money or no money, there is still a lot of life to live and learn at 16. Her life will not be her own after the delivery of her baby because that baby will HAVE to take precedence over any and all things that she has going on her life. The baby HAS to be first. So, that means she MUST learn to be a responsible, nurturing, caring, loving, and protective parent. She went from a child to a woman in ONE
December 19th, 2007 10:54 AM
At least he's hot! Why anyone would want to keep a baby at 16 is beyond me... and in November, she told the AP that she didn't have a "steady boyfriend", mmm?? Another statistic, I guess, since the US is already the top industrialized country in teen pregnancies! Embrace the decadence! :)
