Mischa Barton to Host Las Vegas Bash Despite DUI Arrest

Despite her recent DUI arrest, the skinny actress Mischa Barton, 21, is still planning to host a New Year's bash in Las Vegas this weekend.

"We are aware of Mischa Barton's incident with police this week, but at present she is still expected to host the CatHouse Grand Opening at Luxor Las Vegas on December 29," a rep for the lounge said in a statement.

"We will let you know if anything changes."

The former star of The OC was arrested at 3 a.m. Thursday morning as police spotted her weaving between two lanes of traffic in West Hollywood.

Barton, Mischa

Mischa Barton is all smiles. In this old photo, anyway.

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and of marijuana, as well as with DUI, according to Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. John Hocking.

Barton is due to appear in court in late February to be arraigned. At the very least, no one was injured during her incident. Sadly, Jim Leyritz can't say the same,.

This story is sooo yesterday. It has been reported on real news websites that she is not hosting the party. For the real story, go to http://www.celebrity-gossip.net/celebrities/hollywood/mischa-barton-pulls-out-of-new-years-party-202540/

I think that Mischa should still be able to do the gig because everyone makes mistakes, and she has had fame since an early age and being so yound there is alot of pressure. I think people should just lay off her, it's not always her fault, and maybe if people took the time to look at why she might have done this instead of critisizing her all the time, there might be a place in your heart to help her out. But leave her alone anddon't be so harsh on her, after all you don't know what's happening behind closed doors!!!!
