Anyway, a day after news broke that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant, a Spears family insider (and, apparently a huge sellout) tells Life & Style that she and Casey Aldridge, the father of her unborn baby, are broken up!
A probably bogus source claims Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge broke up. Which is entirely feasible, we just don't trust the magazine that's reporting it.
"Jamie Lynn and Casey are NOT together. They've broken up numerous times, but he was her first and she kept taking him back," says the insider.
"They are not dating now. He's really got nothing to offer this baby. He is only a kid himself. They have no plans to get married."
"At this point, Jamie Lynn has asked her mom (Lynne Spears) â" and not Casey Aldridge â" to be in the delivery room with her."
A rep for Jamie Lynn Spears was not available for comment on the matter. No comment from Britney Spears either. But that nutcase is just out to lunch.

This situation is extremely SAD. I hate that their not together. They need each other for the baby. I mean she is only 16 (like me) and she doesnt want the baby to not know its father. I wish her all of my luck.

i think that this whole situation with Jamie pregnant is disgusting. Who has sexual intercorse at the age of 16, and who decides to keep her baby. But i do think that her boyfriend does not have to support his child because he is just a child himself. But it was his fault to not use protection. But i do wish them the best of luck even though i think this decision will chage her life and will be the best mistake of their life.

Jamie is a slutty custy hoe for having sex and keeping her child. Just because she is a celebrity (acually she's not if it wasn't for her sister) she thinks that if she has sex and ends up getting pregnant she won't be called a slut like anyone else who has sex with her boyfriend for only a couple of months. Hopefully this will teach people about the need for proper sexual education. Teen pregnancy could happen to ANY young girl who has sex, and people need to know all the ways to avoid an unwanted pregnancy, not just abstinence. Hopefully Jamie Lynn will continue to act with dignity and use her position to do something good for other girls.

i dont feel bad for her because shes the one who had sex but it would be very hard to tell people you are pregnant at such a young age. all the people that are saying bad things about jamie need to be quite . imagine if you had to tell your parents that you were pregnant. that would be so difficult i cant beleive that people are disgusted with her for keeping the baby, i think that is the right thing to do.and all the people that say that jamie is following her sisters footsteps is wrong! jamie is a very independent young women and she doesnt need britt to rely on. lots of people say that before her pregnancy more people looked up to her, well that may be but i look up to her more now, sure it was a shock but she is very resposible and i think she will make a fabulous mom and so will casey being a dad. i look up to her more because she is doing the right thing and she is staying strong! you are my romodel!

Guys- It IS sad. Another teen pregnancy, whether she is in the spotlight or not. Casey is NOT the father of this baby...I hate to burst all of your bubbles, but he isn't the father. Jamie-Lynn put her face on the cover of a magazine, she wants the attention this pregnancy will bring her...remember good press or bad...people are still talking about you. Don't feel bad for her, don't feel good. When it is all said and done and the baby is here, she'll need more support then you girls can imagine.

I really think that she should have thought before she had sex with him, And why would her mom let he rhave sex at such a young age. And it doesn't matter who the father is; what matters is she should have learned about sex education before she did it.
I wish her the best of luck and her child and I hope the father would step up and take some responsibility.
And I hope the people that were looking up to her learned something:)

Personally i think people need to leave her alone. I am 20 and have 3 kids and i love bein a mom. She has a good career and a good head on her shoulders. She is doing what is best for her. And if they broke up so what she doesnt need a man in her life to raise that baby. Jamie do whats best for you cause there are plenty more young girls out there who are oging through the same thing.
