Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale: Signed for High School Musical 3
Great news, High School Musical fans: Two of your favorite actresses are signed up for High School Musical 3!
According to Us Weekly, both Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens will reprise their roles in the follow-up, with the latter even receiving a "substantial increase" in pay.
"Vanessa is locked for the movie," a High School Musical source tells Us. "She is very happy that the deal is done."
So are numerous fans, who can also rejoice over the fact that Zac Efron is reportedly also signed for the film.
"The contract will be signed within the next week," a Hudgens source says. "It is almost a done deal."
Hudgens' naked picture scandal - maybe you heard about it - led to reports that either Adrienne Bailon and Sabrina Bryan would replace Vanessa in the franchise.
High School Musical 3, the first in the hit movie series to be a theatrical release, is set to begin shooting in January 2008.
Co-stars Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman are also in final negotiations, according to their publicist.

vanessa hudgens should NOT be replaced in HSM3. even though she did some nasty stuff she made a mistake. everybody makes mistakes. and I dont want one of the cheetah girls to kiss zac efron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know Vanessa mad a bad choice, but everyone does. People shouldn't make a big deal out of it just because she is famous. What she did has nothing to do with her acting career.I hope everyone agrees with me and i hope she decides to stay in HSM3!!!

it is graet news that vanessa hudgens is back on hsm 3 because without vanessa hsm would lose sooooo many fans! and having a ceetah girl as gabriala would be sooo wierd i would not like the movie

i think that va nessa deservwes to be in the 3rd sequel.......
she's the only one who can apply a good act in gabriella's character......ashley is also very good....i love them both!!

i do believe that she should be back in the movie but if she gets an increase in raise so should the rest of them. considering they have done nothing to get in trouble. if she is the only on getting a raise that is wrong. don,t say that she is the star she does the same amount of work as any one else they should all get a raise!!! Period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssseeeeeeeeee, let Vanessa come back. She did made a mistake, yes, but so-what, everyone makes mistakes! She's the only person that would make THE BEST GABRIELLA!!!!! Besides, who want to see a Cheetah Girl kiss Zac Efron? I mean, Zac and Vanessa are made for each other. So they will be PERFECT together for HSM3!!! Vanessa desirves another chance because we all make mistakes. So don't be calling her names! If you were vanessa how would you feel. There would not be a better Gabriella than vanessa. Without vanessa I for 1 would not watch HSM.The whole HSM career will go down the drain w/o vanessa. As everyone has said I could not imagine any cheetah girl around Zac. Plus the cheetah girls look nothing like the Gabriella we know. So pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee let vanessa do HSM3! Good Luck Vanessa!

i really liked the first high school musical and i think it will be great if vanessa get the role in H2M3 coz no1 can play her character like she do. the only ting i tink they shouldn`t do is is make more H2M. The H2M2 was reali boring for me and i didn`t like most of the songs either. many of u proberly loved da second movie and dats okey but i reali tink dat its getting alittle pridictable. Everyone know who is gonna end up 2gether. i mreali tink this movie is mostly a fanatasy of what teens hope will happen. and i reali tink zac look like da ken doll
