We sure have seen some cute celebrity babies in our day, and this newest one is certainly worthy of inclusion on our celebrity gossip site.

Below you will find the first photo of Salma Hayek with her two-month-old daughter, Valentina Pinault, taken on Tuesday, November 20.

This is Salma Hayek's first child and the third for Valentina's daddy and Salma's fiance, the French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.

So far, to our knowledge, Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault have not announced a date for their wedding. But we will keep you posted on that.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor was shot by an intruder in his home in Miami and has been airlifted to a local hospital where he is in critical condition.

"It could have been a possible burglary, it could have been a possible robbery," Lt. Nancy Perez said. "It has not been confirmed as yet."

Authorities were called to Sean Taylor's home at 1:45 a.m. today. The Miami Herald says that paramedics found Taylor with a gunshot wound to the groin.

Sean Taylor is in critical condition after being shot early today.

A week before Taylor was shot, a burglar broke into his home, rifled through his things, and left a knife on a bed inside the home, police records show.

Eight days later, this morning, noises in the dark spooked Sean Taylor and his girlfriend. It turned out to be their worst nightmare.

At least one armed intruder had broken into the $900,000 Palmetto Bay house and were at his bedroom door. Sean Taylor rose from bed, grabbed a machete, and went to investigate, according to a police source.

Just outside the room, he was then shot in the groin and critically wounded. He collapsed into the room, where he breathed heavily, blood gushing from his body, according to Taylor's lawyer and family friend, Richard Sharpstein.

Someone fired two shots at Sean Taylor, the other bullet missing him. Taylor's girlfriend immediately went to help him. The shooter fled immediately.

"Nothing was stolen. They shot at him and fled," said Sharpstein, who was visiting at the hospital. "He is clearly the victim of assault in his own home."

Sean Taylor emerged from surgery at 12:30 p.m. but is unconscious, with his brain at risk of damage from major amounts of blood loss.

Taylor is no stranger to guns. Back in 2005, he was accused of brandishing a gun and hitting a man during a fight. Felony charges against him were dropped, and he plead no contest to two misdemeanors. He was given probation.

Much as we make light of the troubles of some athletes, such as Michael Vick, here's hoping Taylor pulls through this and his attackers are tracked down.

Mere weeks after canoodling with Nancy Shevell, the most famous member of The Beatles is reportedly dating a new random celebrity:

A rep for McCartney, told People magazine "no comment" on the outing. Arquette's rep didn't immediately return calls for comment.

We've learned this isn't the first sighting of the pair, however. At the August 11 James Taylor concert at East Hampton's Ross School in New York, Arquette was seen leaning on McCartney's shoulder during "How Sweet It Is (to be Loved by You)."

It must be a nice change for Paul. His anthem with Heather Mills was closer to How Terrifying It Is (to be Gold-Dug by You)."

Forced away from Malibu due to the latest round of fires, insanely gorgeous couple Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves did a bit of shopping in Beverly Hills over the weekend.

Forced to evacuate their homes, it's not hard to imagine what McConaughey and Alves picked up at the store:

• A fire extinguisher: Gotta be ready the next time flames are out of control.
• Season one of Friday Night Lights on DVD: Clear eyes. Full hearts. Can't lose!
• Suntan lotion: For those rare times when McConaughey isn't wearing a shirt.
• A video camera: In case there's the urge to film a sex tape. We'll volunteer to hold act as the tripod, if need be.
• Tomatoes: To throw at Chelsea Handler.

Attorneys for both Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were back in court on Monday morning, as the couple's high-profile custody battle rages on.

Among the items expected to be discussed include the custody arrangement for the upcoming holidays, verification that both parents have completed court-ordered parenting courses - and the results of Brit's drug tests.

However, the most significant development of the day may come when Britney Spears' court-appointed monitor, Dr. Jane Schatz (seen ducking for cover in a classic celebrity photo) submits her report on Britney Spears' parenting.

While Dr. Jane Schatz has already provided attorneys a copy of her report, this will be the first time it is presented to the court commissioner.

Other matters expected to be addressed include Britney's driving, including the use of the video of her running the red light, as well as the presence of Shane Partridge, the celebrity news reporter who captured the incident.

While the custody battle is set to begin in downtown L.A., there has already been a separate hearing in Van Nuys, Calif., regarding Spears' noted knack for driving with no license, stemming from her August hit and run case.

A judge has agreed to postpone the proceedings on that case until January 2 so the attorneys can further negotiate. Spears' lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, said he feels the system is treating Britney too harshly by seeking 24 months' probation.

"No misdemeanor violation is satisfying to me," Flanagan said, adding that in 38 years he's never seen a court seek to punish someone so harshly for this.

Deputy Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Amerian reportedly offered Britney Spears a plea deal of 12 months, but Flanagan wants no probation at all.

Reportedly, the shock that Hulk Hogan expressed upon hearing that his longtime wife had filed for divorce was a fake as the blood he used to spew inside a wrestling ring.

TMZ has learned that Mr. and Mrs. Hulkster have been fighting since June; the divorce filing were far from a surprise to anyone that knew the couple. In fact, sources say the pair even filmed part of their reality TV show while they were separated.

All for the camera: Looks like the love between Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan was as fake as Gemma Atkinson's boobs.

Does this mean Hogan Knows Best was as realistic as The Hills? We wonder if that could mean Brad Womack made the right decision, being fully aware any love formed on reality TV can never last.

Linda Hogan filed for divorce on Wednesday, but the papers don't give any specific reason for the filing.

Kim Kardashian kept most of her clothes on for a party held in her honor over the weekend. The Playboy cover girl was feted in Las Vegas last night, as she played host to Playboy's Sunday After Dark shindig at the Palms.

We didn't spot fellow naked model Kyla Ebbert at the bash, but perhaps the magazine is waiting to celebrate her upcoming spread with a party all her own. Southwest Airlines attendants would be let in for free.

Las Vegas police have confirmed that Kevin Dubrow, the lead singer of '80s heavy metal band Quiet Riot, was found dead in his Las Vegas home. He was 52.

One of Kevin Dubrow's neighbors found the singer Sunday afternoon.

The Clark County, Nev., coroner has confirmed that his office is currently examining Dubrow's body to try to determine the cause of death.

Fellow band member Frankie Banali posted this message on his website: "I can't even find words to say. Please respect my privacy as I mourn the passing and honor the memory of my dearest friend, Kevin Dubrow."

Kevin Dubrow passed away at his Las Vegas home Sunday.

Kevin Dubrow and Quiet Riot were the first metal band to top the Billboard charts and are likely best known for their cover of "Cum on Feel the Noize."

Meanwhile, the body of Hawthorne Heights guitarist Casey Calvert was found dead on the group's tour bus Saturday, hours before a scheduled concert in Washington, D.C. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Singer Michael Buble is accused of cheating on his girlfriend, Emily Blunt, by the alleged other woman herself! That skank's name? Tiffany Bromley.

Michael Buble has been branded a "love rat" by a blonde who claims to have been enjoying secret sex sessions with him for years - and behind Emily Blunt's back.

Tiffany Bromley, 28, says she has been bedding the award-winning singer on and off for the past decade - and even enjoyed a sex romp in the very flat he shares with the hot British star of The Devil Wears Prada and other films.

Bromley recently told the Globe: "Michael is a cheater and a rat. We've made mad, passionate love a couple of times since he and Emily have been together. The last time was August 17 in the apartment they share in Vancouver."

The blonde rates Michael Buble, the Canadian crooner, "an 11 out of 10" in bed - and says he once suggested a threesome. "I told him, 'No way!' He said, 'Don't knock it till [sic] you've tried it. You don't know what you're missing.'"

Of course, there's no proof that these supposedly scandalous pictures of Michael Buble were taken while he and Emily Blunt were together. But who cares, right, Tiffany? If it's in the name of a good scandal, fools will speculate away.

This picture would be a lot cuter if Larry Birkhead hadn't taken his daughter shopping on Robertson Blvd., one of the most popular locales for entertainment news reporters.
