Celebrities Flock to Nicole Richie Baby Shower
The celebrity news writers at Us Weekly have the scoop on Nicole Richie's Wizard of Oz-themed baby shower at the Beverly Hills Hotel Sunday.
The shower was hosted by her mother, Brenda, Nicole's sister, Sophia, and two of her long time friends, Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon.
Nicole Richie, 26 â" who is due in January â" arrived in a blue-trimmed white dress. She was greeted by life-size replicas of Oz characters â" Dorothy, the Tinman, the lion, the scarecrow and the Wicked Witch of the West.
"The shower was really cute," Paris Hilton said. "We had a Wizard of Oz cake."

Party planner Mindy Weiss threw the bash. The 90 guests â" including Lauren Conrad, celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson and Aussie singer Sophie Monk (Joel's twin brother Benji Madden's fiancée) â" ate "little burgers and pasta," Hilton added.
"The shower was great," Lauren Conrad said. "It was really cute."
It was the first of five baby showers Nicole Richie plans to hold. Which is absurd. But here's something really cool they're doing. Instead of gifts, Richie and Joel Madden have asked pals to give cribs, strollers and stuffed animals to the new Richie Madden Children's Foundation, which supports mothers in need.

well i think it is really cool to have a Wizard of OZ them for the baby, just a little weird but then again it must of been one really cool baby shower and also to have a Wizard of Oz one i would like to do something like that someday when i have my own kids and maybe have lion king or some other kind of movie but then again cool thinking!

I believe strongly Nicole is going to suprise everyone that doesn't know her. She will step up to the plate and be a wonderful mother. Show Nicole. I have faith in you.
