Lauren Conrad & Stephen Colletti: Together at Last?

After taking separate paths for years, could Stephen Colletti be rekindling his Laguna Beach high school romance with Lauren Conrad?

The alleged relationship between Conrad and Colletti surfaced when the two were spotted at Opera in L.A. for a Hornitos Tequila launch last month, as well as on several other occasions. This could be one juicy hookup!

Both refused to speak to the celebrity news media regarding their status, which prompted some spectators to think that Lauren, the star of The Hills, and her former Laguna Beach beau are, in fact, an item after all this time.

"He and Lauren Conrad definitely looked like an item," a source told Star.  "They hung out together the entire time and at one point, Stephen grabbed Lauren and took her out to the dance floor, where they danced to the song 'One More Time.' They were laughing and flirting. They looked happy and cute together."

  Lauren Conrad got together with Stephen Colletti on Laguna Beach, where they soon became parts of a love triangle that also involved Kristin Cavallari.

Eventually, Conrad focused her attention on Jason Wahler. When that failed, LC moved on to Brody Jenner, who previously dated Kristin Cavallari. Obviously.

As for Stephen Colletti, he was recently in a relationship with Hayden Panettiere, the young star of Heroes. The two began dating in July 2006, but broke up this past summer, right after Hayden turned 18. Sucks for Stephen.

Despite their breakup, Colletti and Panettiere, who has been linked to her Heroes co-star, Milo Ventimiglia, since the break-up, remain "very close friends" and "talk to each other frequently." We don't believe that for a second.

Everyone knows you can see Lauren Conrad on the third season of The Hills every Monday, but Stephen Colletti can also be seen on TV - as Chase Adams on One Tree Hill, which returns for a fifth season in January 2008.
