Andy Baldwin & Sepideh Haftgoli: Just Friends

Back in the day (last year) Lt. Andy Baldwin got his freak on (or at least drooled like a complete loser at) more than two dozen women (25) on the hit reality TV series The Bachelor. But could it have been the sultry Miss Iran 2005 that landed the Navy hunk in some hot water with his former fiancee?

"We're just friends," Andy Baldwin said of his relationship with Sepideh Haftgoli in Us Weekly. "I'm just an affectionate kind of guy, and we were on our way to catch up with mutual friends. There's absolutely nothing going on."

Photos of The Bachelor star hanging out with Haftgoli in a Los Angeles park on September 9 - different versions of which were posted on various celebrity news websites - showed the pair engaging in some hard flirting.

While some photos just show Andy Baldwin and Sepideh Haftgoli (left) enjoying the great outdoors together, others appear to show the two hugging, snuggling, and engaging in other potentially flirty behavior. Sexy stuff.

Sexy stuff fiancee and Bachelor winner Tessa Horst (right) was happy about?

Who knows. But Andy Baldwin tells Us Weekly that he and Sepideh Haftgoli have been friends for three years after they met via a mutual friend.

"We were just hanging out and enjoying the day," he said. "[Tessa Horst] and I were together all weekend."

Sepideh Haftgoli, a 26-year-old former Miss Iran, who has previously dated Friends star David Schwimmer, supported Baldwin's side of the story.

"They were innocent photos and innocent hugs," she said.

Last month, Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst had announced they had decided to end their engagement but said they were still "in love" and "committed."
