Owen Wilson Goes Home
As his former friend, Steve Coogan, defends himself against accusations of over-partying, Owen Wilson has returned home.
The troubled actor will be watched around the clock.
"Owen is in bad mental shape but said he is thankful to be alive," says a source close to the actor, who had returned to his Santa Monica home on Saturday. "He knows he came close to ending his life, and he is happy that he was saved from himself. He is basically at home with people watching him 24/7."
Wilson's rep declined to comment to People magazine.
The actor was hospitalized August 26 after what a police log called an attempt suicide. He spent the next several days at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with constant visits from brothers Andrew and Luke Wilson, his parents and such friends as Wes Anderson and Woody Harrelson.

can ne1 send him mail? please recommend this--they helped my son with a notoriously difficult drug addiction. their "home recovery" book cites a study with shocking news about what does & doesn't work--one of few that come up on a search under "drug recovery" & "success rate"--because they are willing to publish theirs--named after St Jude Thaddeus, patron saint of desperate cases and lost causes. their book didn't recommend it -but i think prayer is the key. i prayed long and hard and specifcally. prayers & luck to any who try--son is clean 2 years - www.soberforever.net -

Hang in there....it's not easy dealing with mental issues as a normal person & I can't imagine what it's like in the spotlight!! Hang tough, take it easy, one day at a time & get medical help. There's nothing wrong with reaching out for help.Just know that your fans & friends are with you.
