It's Official: Sherri Shepherd to Join The View
We wonder what criminal Sherri Shepherd will defend on her first day on The View.
A day after Whoopi Goldberg somehow stood up for Michael Vick during her premiere as a permanent host, it's been officially announced that Sheperd will join the gab fest next week.
Goldberg's debut on the all-female forum drew approximately 3.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research, making it the show's second-most-watched season premiere. The one with Rosie O'Donnell in 2006 edged it out, as it was seen by 4.4 million.
Shepherd's arrival gives The View its first full cast since before O'Rosie came and went.
The topical talk show also ditched the awful Star Jones Reynolds and the pretty Meredith Vieira during the past two seasons.
