Big whoop!!! There is nothing wrong with nudity or the human body. American's attitudes of sex and nudity are far to conservative and everyone should just relax. I don't understand why everyone thinks it is so bad to do something that feels so good. We all have a natural yearning to do these things because we want the acceptance of a lover or love interest.
I think no differently of her because of this. She is still a good girl who was having fun (privately) with her boyfriend. Whoever released the photo's should be sued as they violated that persons trust. She broke no laws and consented to the photo's, but I am sure she did not consent to the release, so she might have a case with this.

Vanessa admitted it is her in the pictures, so weather you want to believe it or not. It IS her! I know it's hard to believe for some of you, but for an actress to admit it the pictures are of her, that takes a lot of courage and her fans should have respect for her to admitting it.

She's an adult. She did something sexy and thought it was private.
What the public, Disney and everyone else should do: not be embarrassed by the human body. The picture was not vulgar, or intentionally done for pornographic reasons. We should educate our children not to be ashamed about our bodies, to think about our decisions and ramifications for the decisions before we act upon them, and understand that nothing is private anymore and the internet is bound to abuse our privacy.

I think perhaps the US public is a touch more paranoid about nudity. German teen mags often feature nude teens discussing their self-worth. It doesn't matter if she took the photo, the only legal issue here is that a third party has published something which didn't belong to them.
In terms of her invovlement, I don't see a problem morally here. She's human, free to express her sexuality or perhaps artistic licence. There's nothing provocative here.

I think that this picture shouldnt change anyones opinion of her because if this picture never leaked out you ppl would still like her & never know the difference. This picture was not for the public & everyone is making a big deal about it. It`s really SAD that everyones life evolves around celebrities. GET A LIFE!! Shes human just like us. They are really no different. Give her a break because i BET there is alot of things you ppl do that is probably BIGGER than this. LEAVE her alone & everyone who is making this a BIG DEAL should be ashamed.

I'm gay and an artist, and I thought she looks beautiful in the picture.
The pictures will definitely have an impact to her HSM contract. But, this could also be good in terms of getting more mature roles. I wish her the best.

Kind of a tempest in a tea pot.
It reminds me of the studio peoples reaction to Hedy Lamarr when her nude scenes in 'Ectasy' were uncovered.

Americans are so strange about nudity and sex. On one hand they can be as puritanical as any Muslim country is, but on the other hand they're the biggest maker and consumer of porn in the world. Go figure.
As a Canadian, I can say that the warm weather season is so short around here that we're always ready to strip off and enjoy it.
PS: Just remember that a pic like that could float around for 20 years or more, then appear at a most inconvenient time. People don't think about that when they take them and post them.

Any young girl who gets near the Disney franchise becomes a tramp...(lindsey, Britney, Christina, Justin, etc.)...she is an idiot. She is a young star who thinks she is above it all.
She is free to express her sexuality or artistic license, but not while on contract with Disney. Disney sells purity and innocence. Basically Disney is telling parents "trust us, we arent like everyone else"...they have no choice but to dump her.
