And you thought taking criticism from Simon Cowell was the most difficult part of American Idol.
Tell that to Dallas contestant Antoria Gillon, who performed her audition while in labor. We doubt Blake Lewis could beat box under such conditions.
While waiting with 13,500 other hopefuls at the Texas Stadium on Monday, 9-months-pregnant Gillon realized she was going to have her baby. But that didn't stop her! Before joining Trista Sutter as a new mom, Antoria sang right through the the contractions.
And maybe they helped: Gillon will be back for the next round on American Idol.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she gave birth to a healthy son she named Jamil Labarron Idol McCowan. He arrived early Tuesday morning, weighing 6 lbs. 7oz. And all we know is this:
He may have an even better story to tell than Jayden James Federline.
