i watch her show alot and USED to look up. When i watched the Good Morning America news and i found out my mouth dropped.I thought she was going to turn out way diffrent than her sister.I was wrong but i will still watch the show because i love it!!

I seriously doubt that she actually intended to get pregnant. A lot of people are blaming her and stuff about 'getting pregnant' which is uncomfirmed. Personally, i just think that she just missed her period and one magazine said that she had a pregnancy test and it turned out false. Brittney has been a bad example, but not everybody is blaming it on her. If anything, Brittney would have showed Jamie Lynn what NOT to do. And people who say that she's so sweet and mature, just because she's on a Nickalodeon show, doesn't mean that she's not an [almost] normal teenage girl. Probably half of you either have friends that are sexually active or are sexually active yourselves, so don't get all worked up about it.
even if she really is pregnant, then they'll just postpone Zoey 101. I think that it would be really cool if she managed to raise teh baby, showing that teen pregnancy sometimes turns out alright.

but it's just not right to get pregnant at such a young age.
what IS true is that a baby is a mistake..
if you can't take care of it and if you can't give it a loving, supporting, caring environment.
jamie is 16 and so no, she can't give the baby all of those things.
if she decides to have the baby, which she should, then she should give it up for adoption.
abortion is just as mad as murder and conceiving the poor thing in the first place.

Ok, look Jamie admits it was a huge mistake. When asked about the example she is setting, she said it was not right and not to do it. She says she put herself into a situation that she shouldn`t have put herself into. But the thing is I absolutely LOVE the show "Zoey 101," and I`m going to keep watching it. Even if no one else does, I`ll still be that one viewer who will watch it no matter what!! And even Britney Spears, I am still her fan as well. And anyways all you people saying how disfunctional her family is, can you really say your family isn`t? Didn`t think so. So anyways Jamie, good luck with the baby. i dont think people should be calling her trashy and a slut just because she got pregnant. there are so many teens having sex now and these things happen. i became pregnant at the age of 15 and had my son at the age of 16. im 18 now and still in school and training to be a nurse, being a teen parent does not mean that your life is over, i think she'll be just fine. i respect her for making the decision to have the baby and dealing with the consequences of the choices she made.

okay, so i have read most of the messages everyone has written.
First off, Jamie Lynn Spears, is a role model for any viewer of her show, which is a pretty wide range in age. Any decision she makes, people somewhere will look up to her, trust me, people have stupid reasoning. For example, shes famous because she had a baby haha, well in some little teenager's mind that might be an actual thought.
Also, the majority of people that are famous know that anything they do, will come back to them at some point.
Secondly, everyone says how "it is her decision," "it is her life," "let her do what she wants," "its not irresponsible," etc. etc. Also, you say how if it was anyone else it wouldn't matter, but lets take one little simple thought into consideration.
Imagine anyone in your family, or even better, a close relative or sibling around the age of 14-16, A MINOR, dating someone that is 18 years or older. Well that isn't necessarily legal in most states. On top of that, they are pregnant and sure she has the money to pay for all of the stuff, but if she was irresponsible enough to make the decision to not use protection. Or even irresponsible enough to have sex with an adult which is illegal as well, then why would she be responsible enough to raise a baby. I can almost guarantee that the majority of families out there would be incredibly disappointed if there 16 year old daughter came home one day pregnant from a 19 year old boyfriend. Not only would they be disappointed, they would lose an incredible amount of respect for the person, which is most likely what is going to happen here.
Third: It might still be a rumor, yes, but little miss spears is still promoting to her viewers that its okay to be sexually active with someone that is 18 years of age or older, when it is illegal.
Regardless of the matter whether it is a rumor or not, she decided to allow the media to gain attention of what is going on, and knowing that she is a role model to millions of viewers, promotes that it is okay to date and be sexually active with someone who is an adult when she is a minor. There is nothing positive in any of this. I have more input on the topic, but i dont feel like putting more time into this because half the people that read this are ignorant of opinions other than their own.
