Hey to everyone! I no some of yall have mixed feelings about her but i think that she acts nice and kind and made one mistake and i think that some way she will fix it... the only weird thing about it is that she is 16 and he is 18 (i think) and she met him at church... some of yall might not go to church but that does sound sorta weird. I dont think shes very smart in that way but she is nice and is not known for doing bad things!

First of all, I'm actually laughing at all of those people who are calling themselves "Jamie Lynn" or "Britney Spears". They would not go on sites like these and type random or abusive messages to their fans… they seek advice from their agents, they're CELEBRITIES. None of you know Jamie or Britney… so why do you post messages like, "Jamie is so lovely", "She is her own person and she's so mature". Errr… grow up guys. You don't KNOW these people?! The media influence our world so much so don't be naive and believe everything you read. And please stop being so immature and pretending you're Jamie or Britney because I can easily find proof that you aren't, and it's just immature. Grow up, I'm not being harsh, because I don't like having a go at people, especially in silly little forums! But it really is unrealistic trying to pretend you're a famous person, even if you find it fun, and no one's falling for it.
OKAY Now I have that rant over with I will post my views on the situation. To be honest, none of us know these famous people. We read about them but half the time the things we hear haven't came from the celebritie's mouths, they've come from agents or representatives, or even simply manipulative journalists and press officers. So don't trust anything you read. At the end of the day, no matter how much you all "love" Jamie, she made a mistake. She is setting a bad example to all the young children who look up to her and visualise her and many others as role models.
But we all make mistakes. Even though she is a celebrity, she's also human. She should be entitled to her private life without millions of single minded, naive children and fans making judgements. On the other hand, she chose to be famous and put herself in the limelight, and when you're somebody of her position, people are BOUND to make judgements. People are bound to have opinions because that's what happens with celebrities… we idolise them, criticize them, and we read about them, we interview them, these are the only people within our country who we do openly make judgements on. That is why we read stories in the newspapers about celebrities and hear rumours and alleged stories… that's what happens when you put yourself in the spotlight.
Knowing all of this, Jamie Lynn should have thought about the consequences before she had unprotected sex. Not only does it set a bad example, but it's also going to be a bit critical to her career. She is so young, and she had her own show, in the future she could have done many great things… she was on the verge of the highlight of her career. However, now, she will have a child to look after. And unlike a pet, which can be cared for by other humans, and has basic needs, a child needs 100% of your attention. When you're a mother, you need to be devoted to your child, and more importantly, the child needs you. If they don't have your full care and understanding, they can easily be mislead and misunderstand the world around them, they can feel unwanted and unloved, they learn the wrong things and pick up the wrong messages. Perhaps this may have been what caused the outcome of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy? Perhaps her childhood suffered and due to her celebrity image, she couldn't have a close relationship with her mother because obviously she had to travel a lot, she was forced into growing up. I don't know this, and I'm not one to make judgements, because I've never met Jamie Lynn, I've never known her… all I've known is what I've read and heard about her, and sometimes this can all be very false and misleading. All I know is that, she is pregnant. What's happened has happened. And hopefully, with some luck, the girl will cope well and all will be well for her. I am not a hateful person, I'm not somebody who turns round and goes "I hope she gets dropped out of Zoey 101 and learns and lesson, blah blah blah…"
I hope she does well. I hope she does learn a lesson, but in the right way. And I suppose the best thing we can all do is to learn from this, right? Jamie Lynn didn't mean to have a baby, and it's put her in a very awkward position. She is getting bad press from this all. The chances are, she will probably end up breaking with her boyfriend. I hope she manages to get all the support in the world, and I hope she's a good mother to the baby… for the baby's sake, and for her sake too. But we must all learn that sometimes it's best to wait before having sex, before trying to grow up too soon. The longer we wait, the more special and exciting it will be… and the chances are, we won't find ourselves in similar situations to Jamie Lynn then. If you are having sex, use protection. And be careful. It's a dangerous world. If there's one thing this teaches us, it's that it does happen. People do get pregnant. Even the "conscientious, hard working, innocent" people can find themselves careful if they're not firm and calm under pressure. You should never feel forced or nervous before having sex for the first time. You should feel ready. And rather than criticizing, judging and pretending to be these famous people, we should learn from them. They have a lot of pressure from the media, they're constantly travelling and being pulled away from their family, so they're bound to make mistakes. So don't devote your lives to celebrities and follow in their shadows. Appreciate the enetertainment and music they bring us, but please don't be naive and start viewing famous idols as your friends. Jamie Lynn has made a mistake and this is her payment. Hopefully, like anybody else, she'll see her wrong, but she'll cope, and she'll do the best we can. That's all I can say. Learn from your mistakes and learn from the mistakes from others. Wait until you're ready to be a parent and to give a baby the best chance of life possible, a baby deserves care, attention and needs to be taught the ways of life. A child is forever… it will always need its parents to help it through life. So please, people, think about your actions before you pursue them. We all only get one shot at life. So let's make sure it's the best. Let's try and live the best lives we can, as corny as this sounds. And rather than contributing to the bad press Jamie Lynn is receiving, just try and stay out of everything. What's done is done, Jamie will probably be trying to avoid the cameras and the media and her fans for a while so that she can prepare herself for what is ahead. Walk in her shoes. Learn from her mistakes.

"Very Angry" is totally right, well said. hundreds of young teenage girls are getting knocked up each day, but the only time it matters is when it's a celebrity.
same with other things. sooo many people do it: party their asses off like paris, driving under the influence like lindsay, tons of people treat their kids like britney and we all know it. normally its not a big deal, but for some reason we have to pick on celebrities when they do human things.
not saying its a good thing that she MIGHT be pregnant, but give her a break! you cant IMAGINE how many teenage pregnancies happen every week!!! you know, if we left them alone, celebrities wouldn't be making HALF the mistakes they're making because of pressure from their frekin paparazzi/press/whoever.

I think Jamie Lynn will be a good mother just because shes Britney's little sister doesn't mean she is going to be any kind of mother like Britney is. You can't judge someone just because of there family background. Honestly, do you think if Jamie Lynn was like Britney do you think they would of kept her show Zoey101 on nick... yeah i don't think so. But everyone is obligated to there own opinion. But like i said i think she's going to be a good mom.
