I would never be one of the people to get pregant before marriage, but if it did happen I would probably break down, A lot of girls in my school will the same problem soon. I hope im wrong though.

would u rather ur 16 year old child to be drinking heavily or be having a kid? what would u chose, both are horrible, and u need to think about ur actions...things happen, when that moment comes u do things u later learn u werent ready for, lots of people have sex, lots dont have kids, they get lucky sleeping with whomever they want and not get pregnant, just cuz u had a kid doesnt make u a skank! what about all the other real whores out there who sleep around a lot and dont get pregnant, there not skanks?

For everybody out there and on this site who seemed to get their panties in a bunch because the so called rumor couldn't be true better grow up. "Haters", give me break, it's not hating , it's calling it like it is. Teens now a days are even worse than when I was in my teenage years in the 1990s, promiscuity is one thing, but now if there is a teenage virgin over the age of 13 it's a miracle, she's a religious extremist or her parents make her where a chastity belt. For anybody out there who actually believed Jamie Lyn Spears was just like her Zoey character is naive and basically ignorant. What do you think, movie stars or any other wealthy and famous person isn't human or doesn't have the same human drives and needs as the average person. In fact, a young famous and rich teenager has more pressure and every type of influence you can imagine to deal with.
I'm so sick of hearing women complain about their public image and the way they are demeaned by Hollywood and the media, they demean themselves. Young women complain about not being able to find a good man to have a serious relationship with and marry, well what do you expect when the majority of the young women out there aren't worth the effort and time it takes to build a relationship. Why would any man wanna bother when every girl he runs into is giving it away like the end of the world is near (possibly). All you have to do is look at the "Girls Gone Wild" DVDs and you get a perfect image of young women in today's America or if your educated enough to know that at any given time there are over 4,000,000 pornography websites with what hey call "amateur porn sites" (non-professional porn stars) who just flaunt it all and show just what kind of character they really have. Don't get me wrong, these women aren't doing anything the average person isn't doing behind closed doors everyday, but when you find literally millions of women on the internet acting like pigs for everybody and anybody to see, what do you expect?
Lets get something straight right now, it's not Hollywood, the media, music videos and anything else the conservatives love to place the blame on, the bottom line is that we have failed as parents for some time. It;s not the 1940s and 50s, the "Ozzie and Harriet", "My Three Sons" or "Leave It to Beaver" era, and even then that was not the real world. We give birth to our children, we feed them and cloth them, give them a roof over their heads and the schooling they need to function at average level, but those are the basic needs.
The real job of a parent is to provide influence and direction, realistic education concerning real life, the world and human nature. When your honest with a child or a teenager this leads to strong character and a sense of individualism and independence. The true goal of education is knowledge plus character (do you know who said that?). We fail as parents in that sense as we leave our children in the hands of their peers, school teachers, religious leaders, television and magazines and then we have the balls to criticize and condemn young people for the way they grow up, act and live. The "All American Boy" is no longer cowboys, baseball, moms apple pie and cars, it's gangsters, women/sex, money and flash, and as fast as they can get it.
So first it was attack Britney for having a drug problem and supposedly failing as a parent, now it's attack Jamie Lyn for starting to have sex at who knows what age and getting pregnant! Grow up, how can you criticize or judge somebody who more than likely not given the influence, guidance and direction they needed to be strong and independent women who have the education and tools to be more than their parents were? It's all one viscous cycle that never ends.
We live and we learn and our actions define our character and who we are, but at the same time how can anybody be expected not to be influenced by their peers/friends, family (brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles) and society? To answer my own question, I'll say this; You teach a child to stay away from the light socket, the poisonous cleaners under the sink and how to cross the road by looking both ways, but then teenagers are expected to learn about sex, drugs and human nature on their own with no influences except those I mentioned, well then what do parents and our so called community leaders expect from the next generation when we are just failing them as well!
It's like we are afraid to be honest with pour children and to protect them from "the real boogymen" out there and the harmful influences that EVERY PERSON must face in life as they grow up. It's as if parents believe that if they don't address the issues they won;t have to deal with them, grow up! To Jamie Lyn and Britney, "You Live and You Learn", that's what counts in the end, if you learn from your so called mistakes, they aren't mistakes in the end, they are life experiences that will built character and make you stronger.
So for all the wannabe Jamie Lyns and Britneys out there, let me say that as women you possess a power that no man could ever have, use it, but do it with class and style and you'll have the world by the balls!

dude, she's 16. even if she's not pregnant, she's still way too young. she's a nick star, and little kids and teens are the ones watching this stuff. its not a good example for anyone to set. sure, she may be the same as all of us, she may make mistakes, but being famous makes her a role model to other people.
I don't want my daughter seeing this and thinking its ok to have sex whenever she feels like it. she just turned 13. wat now?
