The time lines here are all wrong.
Bodies found at 2:30PM on Monday by the police who were asked to attend the house on a "Welfare Check" (concern by the WWE). Shortly thereafter and before anything was on the news, the WWE had rescheduled the entire Raw Show for a 3 hour tribute to Benoit. This included digging up tapes back to WCW and interviewing other Wrestlers. Again, all of this was done before the News Sources had released any information. Now I don't know how much any of you know about television and radio news rooms but they too hunger to be the first to broadcast a Breaking Story (Great for ratings). All News Rooms operate and Monitor Scanners for Police, Fire and Ambulance. They should have been on scene shortly after the bodies were found and the radio calls went out.
When the Reports were finally released to the News Agencies, where did all the reports to them come from?? WWE sources released all the information to the press.... (all of them). In fact, it was also

Well let's just play devil's advocate for a minute. What if someone one had a problem with Benoit, went into his house on Saturday and killed the wife, didn't know what to do with the boy so they kept him until Sunday and then killed him. Monday Benoit found their bodies put the bibles by their bodies out of mourning and then took his own life because he couldn't take it. Just a thought. Has anyone said that he was home for sure over the weekend?

Chris Benoit was one of the greatest wrestlers of all time there is no denieing that, no matter what he did in his personal life he was great. Its so hard to see a person you grew up watching a man who was so great become this but i will keep an open mind as to what happen for benoits sake. He damn hell earned my respect a long time ago and damnit it to hell he has all my respect until the actual proof and information come forth. The Beniot family has my prayers at heart and Beniot you do to. The Pegasus Kid ladies and gentlemen has flown away.

I dont believe this stuff... How could a seeming upstanding man that has wrestled for so long, just now have a break down. Everyone including his bosses said that he was the best ever, I dont see it, too many thing lead to other ideas besides just this. I do think it is very odd that the whole idea of it being someone else has vanished into thin air. I think people are jumping into whatever they are fed with both feet and that is wrong. Look at the time line, look at the text messages, look at the whole sit with him staying in a house with dead family.. Just doesnt go together, People need to stand up and really look at this and not let things that may not be true be the only judgment they use.

Amen!! I don't care what the guy did for a living. Greatness is an adjective best reserved for those who exemplify it by the way they live their entire life. This guy was a murderer who took a coward's way out!

OK As a wrestling fan, I admit this "pill" is kinda hard to swallow, hearing from other wrestlers and people how dedicated this man was to his family. But I do not condone the fact that he killed his wife and son. No child deserves to be murdered, nor any human. But to say that the steroids is what made him kill them is out of the box. If it was 'roid rage like they called it, he would have killed them at the same time, not stretch it out. He probably snapped or whatever. The WWE put out a statement that he had passed a drug test in April (including anabiolic steroids), so the whole steroid thing is only speculation. Lets wait to see what the toxicology results before we jump to conclusions. Who knows, the story might change over the next couple of weeks too. Lets just wait for the results.

Yes he may have been a steroid freak but just about all people who take steroids believe the Angry part would never happen to them as long as they feel they have control over the situation it kinda sneaks up on them. In many case by the time its that far there is no turning back.... most people on steroids feel no remorse for what they have done infact some are proud the fact that he killed his self may be something more than just steroids you never know whats going on behind closed doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially with people who seem to be PERFECT

It's always sad when these things happen - especially to someone you feel you may have had some kind of connection to, either personally or someone you've watched for years on TV.
What haunts me is the thought of doing this to your own son - a 7 yr old boy. How distraught do you have to be to justify that in your own mind?
Whether or not Chris killed his family - someone did. Someone killed that little boy, and it's horrible.
There was a double-murder-suicide in Toronto last night. Guess which event is getting more press, today ...

There is no evidence as of yet to what actually happened! Chris Benoit was possibly the greatest technical wrestler of all time! I really am hoping he didn't do it as i got the impression that he was one of the nicest guys to come out of WWE. Rest In Piece Chris Benoit

Chris Benoit was one of the best technical wrestler ever to walk the face of this Earth. It is sad that he is now gone, however it may have happened. And in response to Bryan--I'd rather WWE have a three-hour tribute to Chris Benoit than a bogus three-hour tribute to Vince McMahon when Vince is still very much alive. Rest In Peace, Chris--We Love You!!!!

WWE did not know at the time that it was a double-murder suicide. And there really is still no way to tell if this is what happened. But nonetheless as disapointted and disgusted as i will be IF this is the case, Benoit was still one of the most amazing wrestlers of his time and you recognize that not his personal life.

Bryan you should not lead to conclussions the police have to comb through that and find all the facts right now it is alleged that he Double murder-suicide. but i do think if he did it it was bad taste that WWE aired a tribute about a murderer even if it is chris beniot.
