Chris Benoit Death Considered a Murder-Suicide

by at . Comments

The sad story of Chris Benoit and his family is becoming clearer.

Around 4 p.m. yesterday afternoon, Atlanta police found the body of this former WWE star and his wife and son in their Fayette County home.

According to CNN, authorities were investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide. Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: "The details, when they come out, are going to prove a little bizarre."

Those details may emerge after the completion of autopsies scheduled for Tuesday.

Investigators believe Benoit killed his wife and seven-year old son over the weekend and then himself sometime Monday. The bodies were found Monday afternoon in three different rooms of the house on Green Meadow Lane, in a subdivision off a gravel road about two miles from Whitewater Country Club.

The autopsies were scheduled to be done at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab in DeKalb County.

Ballard said a gun shot was not the cause of death, but would not provide any further details at this time.

World Wrestling Entertainment said on its Web site that it asked authorities to check on Benoit and his family after being alerted by friends who received "several curious text messages sent by Benoit early Sunday morning."

We hate to break it to you, "Future wwe diva," but absolutely no one can see that - not the police, not the district attorney, not Benoit's own father. And why not? Because they aren't blinded by celebrity like you are. There's literally not a shred of evidence that points to anything except the following: Chris Benoit murdered his wife, seven-year old son and then killed himself. Those are undisputed facts. You may react to them however you see fit.
But I recommend finding role models you've actually met and admire for a reason other than how well they can perform a German suplex.

Dave where to you get that stuff. I see/saw him as a human like everyone else i look at. you must be real blind dude. I saw his screwups and accepted it but he didnt kill his family. He was framed. anyone can see that. duh.

I am shocked and saddened by what he has done- BUT - wrestling/WWE and STEROIDS had nothing to do with it. He had mental problems. Deep, deep mental problems. If steroids were the case, i would have murdered Bryan already =)

Future Diva...One thing I've learned is that life is less difficult and complex than most can accept. When a cherished personality does something terribly wrong, die hard fans want to hold onto that untarnished image of their idols rather than accept the fact that celebrities are just human. Our entertainment "heroes" have the same frailties and are capable of making the same mistakes as everyone else.

Dave ur so wrong. Its so known that Chris didnt kill his family. Look at all the facts and open your eyes. You'll be surprised. Dont go judging people.

I can't believe how the power of celebrity can warp a person's ability to see reality. That's why many people feel the need to develop far fetched conspiracies rather than accept the facts. Whether you like it or not, OJ was guilty, Oswald shot JFK, and Benoit killed his family and himself. Deal with it and get on with your lives!

Yeah its messed up seeing Chris Benoit die. He was one of my idols and you cant judge the poor guy. Think about his side of the story. He was always being judged and had to look good in front of fans and in the ring. The only person who knows what he went through was him...mostly but his family, and co-workers. So lets stop judgeing the poor guy cause look what happened.

we in botswana we are so confused and afraid coz what happened in benoit family is what we are being used in our country coz everyday we hear homicides stories rest in peace

If anything good can come from this tragedy... it is that every pro wrestler (including Vince McMahon) speak to the young kids that worship them about the abuse of steroids. I am a fan of the WWE because of my 7 year old son. How do I explain to him how a wrestler he so admired killed his family? My answer is Drug Abuse! The fact that these drugs were prescribed makes no difference! Maybe we should also look at the doctors that prescribe these drugs!? What Chris Benoit did is both unexplainable and sad! And again I will say what needs to come from this is to teach our children the danger of drug use (whether prescribed or not!!!) God Bless Chris Benoit's family.

i think that no one should have to judge CB, we really dont have to God well do that and yea it was wrong but like i said befor to a nother website God well take care of that.
