This all sounds too hollywoodish. I believe theres something terribly wrong that is being hidden. I found a website that shows the list of wrestlers who died before age 65 over the last 40 years and nearly all of them died with strange circumstances. need I not mention that a close friend of Chris' died not that loong ago bazzarely as well. Not to point a fingure but we might have a secret mafia like system going where once your in its nearly impossible to get out. one might note the story has changed several times already and each time it get bizzarer one might think about that and what about good ol Kevin Sullivan the WWE interviewed him not too long ago as well. Could we have a back door rub out

I have to say that no matter how great a wrestler Chris was he should not be remembered as a legend or hero for his victories but as a murderer... His family did not deserve this, a seven year old boy did not deserve this. He spent his whole life building his reputation and in one weekend completely broke it. I have no respect for this man anymore. I do pray for his family.

you know... people are saying why did wwe did a 3 hour show on remembering a murderer.. saying that's ridiculous and wwe should be embarrest.. it does not matter if he is a murderer or not... he put alot of work into that business and he should be granted that honor... everyone may not know how chris really is.. that may say that chris is a nice guy... or they'll say he had secrets that and has very mysterious at times... who cares.. that is his own life that should be private.. look at the things that he has done for the wrestling business.. he was a hard worker that entertained millions of people.. for him to go out this way shocks me... but he will never be looked at a murderer to me... he should be and will be remembered as one of the great entertainers of all time... everybody has problems at home.. even chris beniot... just be sadden that people were not there for chris when he needed it the most.. either love him or hate him.. but you'll never forget him... sorry chris that no one was there...

I agree with rockyblives it does seem to hollywoodish, I don't believe it was a double murder suicide because if were going to kill his son and wife then himself, wouldn't his wife of been in there trying to stop him, so wouldn't she have been killed in the same room, he's a pro-wrestler(i know WWE is Fake, I may be a 13yr old girl but I'm not that naive) But he had muscle, you could tell, he would have easily been able to grab his wife and strangle easily, unless it was someone not as strong and hesitant. Plus, I mean why would Chris wait 2days before killing himself, unless he hadn't known about the deaths until then. And maybe he was coming back from a wrestling event because his wife and kid were sick, and i know if i was going to comit suicide after killing people I wouldnt care enough to try and clear my name by texting a neighbor about the doors being open and the pets being in the house. So I believe he didn't do it and I also think everyone is jumping to conclusions because if you ever pay attention to the news, the storys of what happened in this murder and that thought to be suicide change as much as the whether report, the first story is never the final one. Also the conflict, the double murder-suicide thing didn't release until the wwe wrestlers, some of chris benoits closest friends said he was such a family person, seems to me that the news castors want their conflict, news people love to be the one with the hardest hitting story. Chris was an amazing wrestler and i dont care the outcome, because it will never be known for positive, the only ppl who will ever know are gone. (I dont trust and never will trust the police)you can agree with me or not, i dont give a flip.

Until we really find out what happened I think we all need just to wait and pray for the family and the souls of the Benoit family. If it all is true that he did kill his little boy and wife then he will get what is coming to him. Yes he was a great wrestler but he may have had alot of problems and just snaped. Still no reason to kill someone but hey people this stuff happens all the time and just because he was famous it is getting alot of attention. And myself being involved in law enforcement there is alot of steps that have to be taken to get all the story straight so all these sew happy people don't run out and get them a lawyer.

i love chris bemiot he was my favorite wrestler and until the police have all of the facts i'm not going to make any conclusions of my own. this whole thing has gone crazy the media should just stay out of all of this bc they are making everything worse

Chris Benoit would never do anything to hutrt his family! It was the MOST important thing in his life. He wouldn't just kill them. And if they believe that he did kill them, why would he only kill his wife and one son..why not his Whole family?!?...

I have followed wrestling for more then 25 years now and beniot has been there most of that. I know for a fact that he was a God fearing man and very religous. He believed in doing what was right by God and it just seems so strange that a man that was as religous as he would or could even think of doing an act of such evil. I have watched all the news and hype about him and all this situation and I honestly dont believe that he did it. I believe that someone in the WWE knows what was happening at Beniots house at the time and they failed or denied to face the truth and if Vince Mcmahon cant mention his name on television after all the years that he gave to him in wrestling then I think that Vince needs to take a new look at himself. Now if Beniot did commit this horrible and cruel act he will get what he deserves but until all the facts and the truth comes out people need to quit playing God and judging him as a bad man, If it comes back that Beniot actually didnt do anything and he himself was murdered and (it can be done to look like suicide) then all the people who have trashed this mans name will need to think about who they really need to be judging themselves or.......
Beniot in my eyes was a great wrestler a good father and a wonderful man and until proven guilty beyond resonible dought, that will be my thoughts and opinions of this man. If he is proven guilty then maybe something needs to be done to figure out why so many wrestlers are ending up dead,(from suicide or murder) to name a few ..Kerry Von Erich(suicide),David Von Eric,(murderd in japan) Miss Elizabeth(Murdered)Bret Hart(accident??) Eddie Gerrero (heart problems) does it make ya think about it ....really .....so people before you judge these people ...think about long and hard........Now to the Beniot family , I am so greatly sorry for your loss of each and everyone of the three,They are in a better place now and someday you will know the truth. I pray for Chris that he is innocent, May God watch over you all in this time of mourning and loss and may you be comforted in HIS peacefulness and loving arms.God bless you all.

well i will still pay my respect to chris benoit even after all this has happened. my thoughts havent changed about him. i will always think of him as a wrestler not a murderer. R.I.P CHRIS BENOIT

Such a tragedy for his wife, son & family. As far as he goes, just another "roid punk" off the planet. What do you expect of people who inject pure violence and rage into their backsides. If they could only see how stupid they look, all wild-eyed and pumped up. It's sad they believe this is what makes them a "man".
Feel sorrow for the 7 year old that will never grow up. What a coward to take his own life and not being around to face the music.

If anything good can come from this tragedy... it is that every pro wrestler (including Vince McMahon) speak to the young kids that worship them about the abuse of steroids. I am a fan of the WWE because of my 7 year old son. How do I explain to him how a wrestler he so admired killed his family? My answer is Drug Abuse! The fact that these drugs were prescribed makes no difference! Maybe we should also look at the doctors that prescribe these drugs!? What Chris Benoit did is both unexplainable and sad! And again I will say what needs to come from this is to teach our children the danger of drug use (whether prescribed or not!!!) God Bless Chris Benoit's family.

Yeah its messed up seeing Chris Benoit die. He was one of my idols and you cant judge the poor guy. Think about his side of the story. He was always being judged and had to look good in front of fans and in the ring. The only person who knows what he went through was him...mostly but his family, and co-workers. So lets stop judgeing the poor guy cause look what happened.

I can't believe how the power of celebrity can warp a person's ability to see reality. That's why many people feel the need to develop far fetched conspiracies rather than accept the facts. Whether you like it or not, OJ was guilty, Oswald shot JFK, and Benoit killed his family and himself. Deal with it and get on with your lives!

Future Diva...One thing I've learned is that life is less difficult and complex than most can accept. When a cherished personality does something terribly wrong, die hard fans want to hold onto that untarnished image of their idols rather than accept the fact that celebrities are just human. Our entertainment "heroes" have the same frailties and are capable of making the same mistakes as everyone else.

I am shocked and saddened by what he has done- BUT - wrestling/WWE and STEROIDS had nothing to do with it. He had mental problems. Deep, deep mental problems. If steroids were the case, i would have murdered Bryan already =)

Dave where to you get that stuff. I see/saw him as a human like everyone else i look at. you must be real blind dude. I saw his screwups and accepted it but he didnt kill his family. He was framed. anyone can see that. duh.
