OK As a wrestling fan, I admit this "pill" is kinda hard to swallow, hearing from other wrestlers and people how dedicated this man was to his family. But I do not condone the fact that he killed his wife and son. No child deserves to be murdered, nor any human. But to say that the steroids is what made him kill them is out of the box. If it was 'roid rage like they called it, he would have killed them at the same time, not stretch it out. He probably snapped or whatever. The WWE put out a statement that he had passed a drug test in April (including anabiolic steroids), so the whole steroid thing is only speculation. Lets wait to see what the toxicology results before we jump to conclusions. Who knows, the story might change over the next couple of weeks too. Lets just wait for the results.

I dont believe this stuff... How could a seeming upstanding man that has wrestled for so long, just now have a break down. Everyone including his bosses said that he was the best ever, I dont see it, too many thing lead to other ideas besides just this. I do think it is very odd that the whole idea of it being someone else has vanished into thin air. I think people are jumping into whatever they are fed with both feet and that is wrong. Look at the time line, look at the text messages, look at the whole sit with him staying in a house with dead family.. Just doesnt go together, People need to stand up and really look at this and not let things that may not be true be the only judgment they use.

Its so hard to see a person you grew up watching a man who was so great become this but i will keep an open mind as to what happen for benoits sake. He damn hell earned my respect a long time ago and damnit it to hell he has all my respect until the actual proof and information come forth. Well let's just play devil's advocate for a minute. What if someone one had a problem with Benoit, went into his house on Saturday and killed the wife, didn't know what to do with the boy so they kept him until Sunday and then killed him. Monday Benoit found their bodies put the bibles by their bodies out of mourning and then took his own life because he couldn't take it. Just a thought. Has anyone said that he was home for sure over the weekend?
Bronx Attitude Says:
June 27th, 2007 1:57 AM
The time lines here are all wrong.
Bodies found at 2:30PM on Monday by the police who were asked to attend the house on a "Welfare Check" (concern by the WWE). Shortly thereafter and before anything was on the news, the WWE had rescheduled the entire Raw Show for a 3 hour tribute to Benoit. This included digging up tapes back to WCW and interviewing other Wrestlers. Again, all of this was done before the News Sources had released any information. Now I don't know how much any of you know about television and radio news rooms but they too hunger to be the first to broadcast a Breaking Story (Great for ratings). All News Rooms operate and Monitor Scanners for Police, Fire and Ambulance. They should have been on scene shortly after the bodies were found and the radio calls went out.
When the Reports were finally released to the News Agencies, where did all the reports to them come from?? WWE sources released all the information to the press.... (all of them). In fact, it was also the WWE who first releaased the information on the Double Murder Suicide on the WWE Site... again prior to any reliable news source.
Sorry.... things here don't add up. Vince and the crew were able to change and produce and announce an entire 3 hour tribute broadcast including taping interviews from all the wrestlers... remember too that once the WWE found out about the bodies and after confirming Identities (after 2:30 PM), he (Vince) took the time to first tell the other wrestlers of the deaths before rescheduling and producing the evening roster change including digging up all old match tapes including editing, plus pre taping interviews with other wrestlers and all of this before the first news story came out.
Again...... Any official News Source would have been on scene to give the report live and would have had that information through Scanner sources of (in the least), 3 bodies being found at the Benoit House. They didn't even have to confirm who they were at that point. After all, we are talking Celebrity Status. Any Dead Body found in a Celebrity's House is News.
Just a little curious on that one .... Time line almost indicates that the WWE was aware of this at least the day before to have been able to produce the show for last night... I mean, It even takes time to produce a half hour news show.
I really feel that the WWE knows a lot more than they are letting on and either knew what was going to happen in advance .... orrrrrrrr......... ????
Bronx Attitude Says:

I think all 3 were murdered ... reasons: time frames don't line up as expalained above. The repeat text messages on the physical Address sounding like a distress signal for help ... Bibles left with the Bodies with no note... doesn't line up.. plus just past a steroid test yet steroids found at the house..... looks like a plant.

I would like to believe that Benoit didn't kill his family, but it looks like that is just a fantasy at this point! Benoit was a great wrestler and seemingly lived an admirable life. This is just another case were the grass seems greener on the other side. Benoit must have been a troubled man who was pushed to succed in a demanding lifestyle and he finally lost it. Two innocent lifes are now lost and Benoit's legacy will forever be scarred! This should be a lesson to us all!!

After using steroids for a long time, Chris suffered from erectile dysfunction. Naturally, his wife became dissatisfied with their relationship and had an affair. Chris found out and went on a 'roid rage'. He killed his wife for being unfaithful and his son who may not be his legitimate son afterall, since Chris is sterile. Overwhelmed by guilt, Chris took his own life as he realised that it was not worth living 'a dog's life as a 'cheated' wrestler. Sad story...
