Rosie O'Donnell Out at The View
Here's great news to start your weekend: Rosie O'Donnell will NOT be returning to The View.
Following an exchange with Elisabeth Hasselbeck that was heated, even by their standards, the unabashed liberal - who embarrassed many of us within that political party - announced today that she won't be completing her contract on the show.
"We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave," Brian Frons, president of ABC Daytime, said in a statement posted on TMZ.com. "Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to The View and wish her well."
The Hollywood Gossip does not. We hope no other network gives this attention-seeker the outlet she so craves.

Some attractive 1-dimensional chick who sat around on Survivor and has no apparent talent other than her blind worship of Geo. W. Bush??!!

And Elisabeth had some nerve getting in the face of an established comedienne like Rosie! Rosie made a name for herself through the trenches on real merit--and not on account of a ski-jump nose or perky boobs! Elisabeth is a great Yes-girl and fashion-horse (not even).
I assure you that Paris Hilton displays more talent!!
Rosie was just too real for that show!!

you have got to be kidding! You don't wish rosie well and yet she is one of the only public figures who seems to have the balls to publicly speak out aganist this administration. I think that elisabeth shoud be the one receiving all the bad press. she is a total republican clone. Come on Hollywood Gossip, get real!

I'm sick to death of Rosie taking all the blame for the debates on THE VIEW getting out of hand. If you watched the show just the last couple of weeks even, it was clear that Rosie was reigning herself in & Elisabeth was the one screaming & ranting day after day. Who IS she, is right. That ditzy chick is just a groupie for Dubya & can never ever admit that he has ever done anything the least bit wrong. At least Rosie has the balls to tell it like it is & face the consequences. Elisabeth pretended to be Rosie's friend, then backstabbed her when her potential future as another FOX News Bush shill was on the line. With friends like that..... the funniest & truest thing Trump ever said was that Elisabeth is the dumbest broad on TV.
