Caroline Lyders, Taylor Hicks Canoodle on Beach
American Idol winners are hooking up left and right!
First, Carrie Underwood snagged Pro Bowl quarterback Tony Romo.
Now, Taylor Hicks is making a move on a sort of well known television personality.
After days of speculation about the identity of the random blonde with the awful taste seen with Hicks recently, word is spreading that it's none other than Milkwaukee morning anchorwoman, Caroline Lyders. We had a feeling.
Lyders claims that her and last year's American Idol champion are just "friends," but this photo says differently. We haven't seen this much kissing since Mary-Kate Olsen sucked face with Max Snow.
In other American Idol "friends" news: Kellie Pickler is dating Jordin Tootoo.
And Blake Lewis may be dating Antonella Barba.

Taylor Hicks is a great guy. He supports a charity called kids one, and helped raise money for a 2 year old girl with cancer. Also was known for best mannered for kids. I get my sources from Milwaukee on line. I don't like things I am hearing that like he asked Caroline to play being his fake girlfriend. And he is not gay and he is not a heterosexual. he had girlfriends before. I seen the sites and to tell you the truth, I think Taylor Hicks and his previous girlfriends look very nice together. I wish that he would go back to them or find another girlfriend. I just wish this would end with Caroline. No I am not jealous if you read these articles about her talking about Taylor hicks in November and she happen to go with Aron to his parents house for Christmas. His parents said they had a great time. They also said that they have been talking about marriage. I would be very happy for them but, the way she did it doesn't seem right. And also notice how Lyders saids they are just friends. She doesn't want to admit it. Why couldn't she do things the right way. Break-up with Aron first and meet Taylor Hicks. And unfortunately Taylor Hicks doesn't think for a second that she could on him. I just don't like the way it has been going.

Caroline Lyders of Channel 12 is an attractive, talented and accomplished broadcast journalist. During her 2 ½-year tenure in Milwaukee, she has established herself as a favorite in the OnMilwaukee.com editorial offices.
That said, we were a bit perplexed when the "Milwaukee Talks" interview that managing editor Bobby Tanzilo did with Lyders back in November began to receive unusually heavy traffic during the recent holiday weekend.
It didn't take long to figure out why.
Lyders, the co-anchor of the weekday edition of WISN "12 News This Morning," has been romantically linked to singer Taylor Hicks, who became an international star after his victory on "American Idol" last year. The entertainment blogosphere was abuzz after what appeared to be photos of Lyders and Hicks lounging and canoodling on a beach in Hawaii were published on sites like splashnewsonline.com and TMZ.com. It didn't take long for Hicks' fans to identify the bikini-clad woman in the photos as Lyders and link to both her bio on the station Web site -- themilwaukeechannel.com -- and her interview with OMC.
"Yes, Taylor and I are friends," Lyders told Tanzilo Wednesday morning, "and as a journalist I respect your asking. But beyond that, I'd rather not comment on my personal life."
"I do not comment on my client's personal life," said Liz Morentin of Hicks' J Records label via e-mail.
People.com, which contacted OnMilwaukee.com for more clarification about a story that ran Wednesday afternoon, quoted an unnamed "friend" of Hicks' as saying, "I don't know about any new girlfriend. But I'm not surprised. Taylor always had girls following him even before he ever became famous. ... He is a romantic when it comes to women, and he treats them with respect. So to be seen out in public with this girl makes me know that he likes her, because that's just how he is."
Hicks played the Pabst Theater in March, but doesn't have any scheduled gigs soon in Wisconsin. He is playing the Genesse Theatre in Waukegan, Ill. on July 12.

(Please notice how they even have pictures of the tall beach woman in this write up, saying it's Caroline Lyders, essentially stealing another womans identity. Disgraceful.) And here are the rest of the fabricated stories all knowingly planted by Caroline Lyders using her connections since June:
· This one again is courtesy of Bobby Tanzilo. I am unsure why he would need readers to call in since he could just call his buddy Caroline on the telephone. I live in Milwaukee and I sure didn't hear about anyone actually seeing Taylor Hicks in town.
· The writer of the following piece, Chris Lato, allegedly planted this vapid gossip piece. We hear Hicks was never in Barnes and Nobles. And what the heck? Chris Lato writes about politics. Now he's writing about seeing Taylor Hicks at a bookstore with Caroline Lyders? That's a step down! Oh yes, I forgot it was a "favor."And to go along with the article, here is a podcast of the Barnes and Noble event. Chris Lato conveniently happens to have his "recording device with him". *eye roll* Yet they even have Taylor Hicks calling in on a cell phone! lol
· Here, it's confirmed Lyders was not at this Green Bay Packers game and the only reference to her being at this game is again her own media connection. Either Taylor Hicks told this writer she was there, or the writer added it as a favor.
· Here you can see how this reputable journalist has even updated her bio to read she is romantically linked to Hicks (which she is not, and actually has a long time boyfriend named Aaron Ruffcorn)
· And here is some more nonsense she added for herself. Can you say "publicity whore?"
