Jon Heder Talks About Groupies, Erections

by at . Comments

In Napoleon Dynamite, Jon Heder played a lovable loser - but the 2004 indie hit turned the actor into an unlikely heartthrob.

Asked in the April issue of Elle - the one with Rachel McAdams on the cover - if there was a "buffet of eager women" waiting for him after the movie came out, Heder jokes:

"Maybe there was a buffet at some location that my bus just did not reach. But yeah, there was definitely this 'I love you! I love you!' this and that."

Which is not to say the Mormon actor, who is expecting his first child with his wife of five years, Kirsten, was tempted:

"You don't want to hook up with all those greasy girls. And they don't want you. They want [Napoleon Dynamite]. And I wasn't about to go back to that perm."

Though he's happily married, Heder, who costars with Will Ferrell in the upcoming Blades of Glory, admits that he and Kirsten do argue â€" over "how bad she is at Zelda on Nintendo. ... I don't know if it's the best thing for our marriage, but our desire to play outweighs our doubt."

Meanwhile, in slightly disturbing news: Since Heder and Kirsten were college sweethearts, he didn't have a lot of previous experience with women, but remembers one particularly embarrassing moment, one more frightening than any picture of Lil Kim:

"I had my first kiss when I was 17 or 18. The second time we kissed I got a little excited and I was wearing these really loose shorts that didn't leave much to the imagination ..."

Whoa, Napoleon Dynamite nude, huh? Sorry about that image. Go look at Eva Mendes nude instead and feel better.

Hi Jon.
Just wanted to tell you that I think you are so aweome! As an actor and a person in genral. I can tell from your eyes and your smile that you have a pure soul that is full of love and all that is good. I wanted to add you on MySpace, but it wouldn't let me. (sad face). You now have my email address, so if you could find it in your heart to let me add you to myspace, I won't have to contact the 'Make A Wish Foudation" lie and say I'm dying and my wish is to have you on myspace. I have much respect for you for not exposing yourself as many of the Actors do these days. It speaks volumes of your integrity. And being the family man that you are only increases my respect for you.
Well that about covers it.
One of your biggest fans,
Brittney Castanon
