Dr. Sandeep Kapoor: The Anna Nicole Smith Drug Lord
Can the story involving Anna Nicole Smith get any stranger?

Forget the battle between every other man on the planet for paternity rights to Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern for a moment - and let's focus on how Anna Nicole may have died.
Meet Dr. Sandeep Kapoor. He's the doctor who prescribed methadone to a very pregnant Anna and had it shipped to the Bahamas. But that's not even all.
Kapoor, who practices in Los Angeles, wrote a prescription for methadone on August 25, 13 days before Anna Nicole gave birth.
TMZ then searched the Internet and found a description of Dr. Kapoor's practice in an advertisement for someone who has worked "in an outpatient based setting." In the description of his practice, Dr. Kapoor lists "Entertainment Medicine."
What does that mean? Who knows for sure? But you can bet Pete Doherty wants a batch.

Dr. Kapoor has taken amazing care of my family.
Some people really do require a Doctor to come visit them in an OUTPATIENT SETTING... not SETTLING.

sad how everyone thinks anna nicole is the only celebrity out there to use an assumed name to stay out of the press when it comes to obtaining meds? are you people really that foolish and naive enough to think she stands alone in doing this? just what do you think 'entertainment medicine' means? every time a celebrity gets busted there is a doctor waiting to exhale so they don't get busted along with that celebrity...and methadone does not hurt the unborn fetus/baby...but giving that you don't want to report the facts and just exploit the negative you should do your (complete) research before reporting anything...

He's my "travel" doctor! Whenever I'm traveling out of the country he makes sure I'm well protected from any foreign diseases. He's a great doctor with a lovely manner and I hope this "buzz" is ultimately, harmless.

Dr. Kapoor has been the only doctor who has truly cared about my well being and health. He is a doctor who listens, cares and understands. I hope this nightmare ends and Dr. Kapoor can go on with his life.

Drs prescribe drugs for their patients all the time.
Some are not taken correclty- Drs do give instructions its up to the PATIENT to follow them.
Why dont we STOP looking into the Dr and look into how the drug was abused. YOu can misue Tylenol ! Read the bottle.
I would blame the Ms Nicoles nurse and whomever was taking care of how the meds were given to her!

What this low-life drug dealer did was very illegal. There are no excuses or loop-holes 'to explain everything'. Why isn't this very dangerous quack locked up, right now?! Where is the DEA in all of this? This fella needs to be shut down permanently and charged/penalized for what he has done, which is a whole lot!! With the stroke of a pen because of greed and wanting to be a 'celeb doc', he has contributed to the death of at least 2 people.

hi i used to work for dr kapoor and you know what he is a very nice honest hard working man....we need to think about some stuff for a minute...drs prescribes meds to people everyday...they also give them instructions on how to take them...when they fill there prescriptions and they take them they are the ones who need to follow instructiuons......i think we should stop looking at dr kapoor as a killer and start looking at the person that waS ACTUALLY ADMINISTERING the pills to anna nicole...dr. kapoor could not be there with her 24hous aday to make sure she took them right..so why are we accusing him??/think about it people

As a (now likely former) patient of Dr. Kapoor's, I can honestly tell you that the 'Entertainment Medicine' refers to the practice of having on-set doctors on movie sets in case an emergency occurs. This is a common practice.

All i can say to those that think this is a good example of a Dr?? Your nuts. and must have gaurdian angels looking over you. I would not trust him with a rat let alone a human, Believe me the DEA IS ALL OVER THIS. He had no buisiness prescribing meds of any kind to Anna. Under how many names?? Entertainment Medicine? more like drug pusher, anything to be part of the in crowd. out clubing with her no shit on?? how classy is that?

My wonderful plastic surgeon, Vishal Kapoor, MD, in Beverly Hills, has received some nasty hate mail from people who thought he is Sandeep Kapoor, MD, the doctor who prescribed (apparently) for Anna Nicole Smith. Please don't send hate mail to Vishal! He's a wonderful, kind plastic surgeon and not affiliated with Sandeep Kapoor, MD nor with Anna Nicole Smith in any way.

Dr. Kapoor is an exceptional Dr. He has taken care of me since he took over the practice from the previous Dr. It's so sad the media can tear someones heart out without knowing the facts. I have no doubt once the investigation is over, he will be exhonerated. He would never jepordize his paitents health nor his licence to practice. Hang in there Dr. Kapoor and keep your head high. Your paitents love you because you are a great caring and attentive physician. When you first came, I wasn't sure because I didn't know you and I stayed and gave you a chance. I'm so thankful that I did. You are loved and surely you have my support.

I don't care who Dr. Kappor sleeps with, who he clubs with, where he clubs, or anything else he does in his private life. His life is between him and his God. He is a great physician. As his paitent, that is all that matters to me. The rest is not my business nor is it yours.

Dr. Kapoor is the best. He is very concerned about how a drug might effect you and requires constant followup and testing to make sure you have no adverse reactions. People who don't know him should leave him alone or take the time to get to know him.

Please. This so called Dr got paid and maybe laid to give her those drugs. Just beacuse he is a great DR to some does not take away the pics and the actions taken with ANS. He is just like HStern they both were educated and new how to get what they wanted from a unstable person. Its a shame that she did not have a good support system and maybe she would be with her daughter and son now.

I am from a foreign Country however, after reading all of those comments, I also realized that the ones who have the blame complex should do themselves a favor and get a basic education. Dr. Kapoor did what he felt was appropriate and acted in Mrs.Smith's best interests/M.Chase. If some day "you" become somewhat famous, perhaps you'll understand until then, please people, be quiet you are absurd. This message is my own opinion but intented especially to those who have no clues! Dr.Kapoor is following the saying of Dr. Peabody - "The secret in the care of the patient is caring for the patient"

As a patient of Dr Kapoor, I can say he is one of the FINEST doctor I have ever known. He has always gone beyond the 100%, truely listening, sharing and caring. His suggestions and knowledge have improved my family's health.
When my 87 year old mother was in her last months and dying Dr. Kapoors compassion, help, and guidence made the living and experiencing her eventual demise full of grace, laughter, tears and dignity. I can never re-pay his kindness.
When family's are faced with the toughest life and death situations having a family doctor CARE ENOUGH to PERSONALLY walk you thru it, provide the needed help, consistant calling, reporting and checking on the patients status, being available round the clock AND to make house calls, is and WAS a godsend. That is Dr. Sandeep Kapoor .
Those final months with our Mom the comfort the family recieved felt like being back in the 1960's when it was common practice for a family doctor to make housecalls. When was the last time your doctor made a housecall?
Facts are not TRUTH nor the whole story. Many different and unique tales could be told by eliminating or not having all the facts.
There are so many wonderful subjects to investigate that bring the public hope, laughter, inspiration and glory. Why not focus on something worthwhile, instead of destroying this good doctors reputation on speculation.

My family has been going to Dr. Kapoor since he first began his practice in Studio City. Last year my mother passed away, he was the best of all of her doctors. Ever since, he's been a godsend for my father.
I completely agree with the above poster. An idle mind is the devil's playground. Looks like there are just too many god damned idle minds out there.

Doctors are whores of the drug companies. I hate to visit my doctor because he is always pushing drugs and wants to give me samples. They do not care that the drugs are killing us. Please read the SIDE EFFECTS of all medicines.
