Sherri Shepherd Reportedly to Join The View

by at .

She may have starred on the sitcom, Less Than Perfect, but it looks like Sherri Shepherd is the perfect candidate to fill the permanent fifth hosting spot on The View.

The actress has filled in for Rosie O'Donnell this week and reportedly made quite the impression.

Sherri Shepherd, Lamar Sally

She's talked about catching her husband in bed with another woman and stood toe-to-toe against Rosie a few weeks ago during the Clay Aiken/Kelly Ripa saga.

Reports that Shepherd is also willing to take out a hit on Donald Trump in order to guarantee her spot on the show have not been confirmed, however.

But look for confirmation from ABC in the next few days. As far as The Hollywood Gossip is concerned, we don't know a lot about Sherri.

However, as long as she isn't Star Jones, we're thrilled.

YEA!!!!! I just love hearing Sherri talk. she is honest and she will spit it out no matter what the subject. and just because she is a celebrity doesn't mean she cann't get on he home grown level and talk about the way she ws raised and how it effects her views. Good for her, I surly hope that B. Walters hires her!!

i guess rosie being a lesbian has the right to judge others for being a 'good role model'? not. that discusting, fat headed, ugly, obnoxious pig needs to hide under her covers and stay there, she is offensive to look at and listen to. Walters is a liar who is losing credibilty associating with rosie.

Doesn't she remind you a bit of the old Star Jones? No need to replace Rosie. She's doin' what she does. First & foremost, she's a comedian.

good choice! her true talents came out on the Ellen show. She will make a great conribution to the show. Now if they could just get replace Rosie it would have chance to get back to the real View, instead of the Rosie O'Donnell show.
