Lauren Conrad, The Hills Return Tonight
Lauren Conrad, Laguna Beach alumna and star of MTV's The Hills, is featured by People Magazine in a photo special previewing her reality show's second season - which starts tonight! Here are the exclusive photos and the details she dished:
Lauren, 20, and roomie Heidi Montag, also 20, sit down to lunch at Mauro's Café at Fred Segal. Conrad, who's been going out "most nights" (her fave club: Les Deux) since ending her tumultuous romance with Jason Wahler and a brief fling with Brody Jenner, says of Wahler, "I've tried several times to be like 'let's just be cool and be friends'... But then I'll see him somewhere and he'll just be rude to me." Ass.
At Ron Herman, Conrad pulls several dresses to try on for her appearance later on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the new season of The Hills. "Whatever catches my eye," Conrad says of her shopping strategy.
Lauren Conrad tries on several gowns, including a $528 Yigal Azrouel blue halter frock ("It's a great color, but don't you think it looks like a potato sack?"), but ultimately settles on a black Jill Stuart cocktail dress. "I love the frilliness of this," she says as she takes a twirl. Later, Conrad looks poised as she and Heidi Montag arrive backstage at the Kimmel show.
At her apartment, Conrad gets makeup for her guest spot on the ABC late-night show. "I normally do my own hair and makeup," says Conrad, who despite being admittedly bad at dating, says she isn't what you'd call a drama queen. "I'm not a diva."
During her interview with Kimmel, Conrad tackles questions about the new season, her rival Kristin Cavallari ("Everywhere I go, people ask me about her... I just don't understand it"), her tattoo (she's changing the J, for Jason, to an L) and the new season.
"It was really easy," the Laguna Beach alumna boasts after the show, before heading out with her parents to grab dinner. Good luck this season, Lauren. Good luck.

hi Lauren I would like to say that i really appreciate the person you are. Guys aren't really easy to understand even if sometimes we (girls) feel that he is the one,they always tend to change in a weird way,so I'm just trying to say whatever u've been thru with guys don't waste your time thinking about them or regreting stuff some guys aren't worth to be thought of. you deserve WAY BETTER!! i just hope that the next one will be the one you've always wanted. Your personality is so cool,down to earth, and understanding, you surely know how to stay calm when ur being shouted at (depends actually lol) ur simple,classy,elegant and inspiring a lot!! Heidi is really crazy,goofy,hilarious,exciting and gosh i bet she's a great friend too she's awesome!!. You guys are my favorites I can see that your friendship is really strong and that nothing can easily get between the both of you. i like that. hey lauran! so, me anda friend are watching laguna beach. we think that kristin is very rude. I know that this was a long time ago, but i will always dislike her. so i also like your show the hills because the problems that you and your friends go through are so real, maybe because i'm blonde and it is real life. i live in wisconsin were we don't have parties, we don't have fun, but we always wish we could, and were always milking cows and working. So how is life now? are you still going to school and working at teen vogua? i hope that you have fun and i'll try to write once in a while. Thanks for making laguna beach famous.

o my god i love the hills i hope that low is in more shows i like totally missed her!~! lauren is really cool but she had no reason to thinkthat heidi spred thoughs roumors about her!~! anyways i love the hill hate spencer!~!~!~!~

Hi, I'm just like to say that as a new zealander, i totally tune in to the MTV channel on Sky just to watch the Hills. Its awesome. Totally love it. More please.
