While less publicized than her relationship with Zach Braff, Mandy Moore can count tennis star Andy Roddick among the men that have courted her.
Get it? Tennis? Courted? Nevermind ...
The two remain friends now, as proven by Moore attending Roddick's first annual Charity Celebrity Poker Tournament at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla., Friday night.
"We're cool," the tennis hunk told People magazine about himself and Mandy. "We're doing fine now. She's a good girl, and it says a lot about her to come out tonight."
The pair chatted before celeb guests such as Venus and Serena Williams, Nicky Hilton (who later met up with sister Paris at the South Beach nightclub Ink) and Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough hit the tables.
Roddick and Moore have been friendly for a while: In July, they shared an intimate lunch at the poolside Backyard restaurant at L.A.'s W hotel. But they are not back together - which, of course, cannot be said these days for Paris Hilton and Stavros Niarchos.
Friday's event raised funds for the five-year-old Andy Roddick Foundation, which supports Kids in Distress, A Safe Haven for Newborns and other charities that help abused and at-risk children.
"We proposed the concept and everyone was real excited," Roddick said of the tournament. "We have superstars of the tennis world, the modeling world with the cast of (MTV's) 8th and Ocean, the actress world with Mandy. I'm humbled by everybody that came out tonight. It's pretty cool."
Sadly, Beyonce could not make the event. But her hair stopped by for a few hours.
