Apprehended! Wesley Snipes Arrested on Tax Fraud

Snoop Dogg may have company in the slammer soon.

Wesley Snipes was finally arrested Friday in Florida on charges of tax fraud, Steve Cole, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Tampa, Fla., told People magazine.

The actor had been filming a movie in Namibia despite the warrant for his arrest on charges of trying to cheat the government out of nearly $12 million in false refund claims and failing to file returns from 1999 through 2004.

Pretty lame crime, if you ask us. At least Snoop carried a few glocks and threatened Suge Knight.

Anyway. Snipes flew into Orlando last week and voluntarily surrendered to police.
