Brody Jenner, Lauren Conrad Break Up

They're no Britney and Kevin in terms of celebrity status (or bad music), but like the aforementioned couple, Brody Jenner and Lauren Conrad are so over.

Less than a month after Brody confirmed he and Lauren, a.k.a. "LC," were seeing each other, the two have split up. The Gossip staff is astonished this romance didn't last. It definitely wasn't a ploy to get the attention of Kristin Cavallari or anything.

"We're not together anymore," Brody Jenner told a source on Thursday at the launch party for the new furniture collection at Minotti in L.A.

The news was echoed by his mother, Linda Thompson, who told People at the Environmental Media Awards.

"I think Brody's pretty single right now. He's on his way to Miami. Bikinis, thongs. I think he'd better be single right now," said Brody's MILF mother.

Lauren Conrad's representative, Nicole Perez, had no comment.

On October 18, Jenner revealed that he and Conrad, who became famous on Laguna Beach before starring in her own spin-off, The Hills, had started dating.

"I don't know what you consider dating, but we're seeing each other, we're having a great time with it. She's an amazing girl," BJ said.

Conrad, however, was coy about her relationship with Jenner at the time, saying only that, "He's a nice guy."

In early October, Jenner split from Nicole Richie, whom he started seeing in August, just weeks after ending his year-and-a-half long relationship with Cavallari, Conrad's nemesis on Laguna Beach.

Conrad split from her fellow Laguna Beach alum Jason Wahler in August. J-Wahl was recently spotted with -- guess who -- Cavallari. Chances are, the drama isn't finished yet.
