Hi Miss Winfrey I'm the president of the beatifulcation committe at my church Pine Grove a small place in Mt Vernon Ala. Our church burneddown and we trying to rebuild. The insurance money will not pay for every thing so we are trying to raise mony to help build it back.would you help us? God bless you

My name is Sandra Weary. I am a recovering addict and alcoholic with 18 years clean and sober. I am writing this because I am in need of an automobile. I went back at age 40 to college and graduated 2 years ago with a degree in Social Work. I ask the Lord to help me obtain that degree so that I could help my community. I graduated in 2006 and I still have not been able to secure a job that will afford me the opportunity to purchace a car. Nevertheless, I still do all I can in my community. I belong to several organizations that reach out to the community. The year I graduated from SLU, the Dodge Nitro came out. I been dreaming on owning one since then. Even if I could be given a good down payment for the Nitro will be a great help. I know you don't know me, however the bible says we have not because we ask not. Also,. I have never ask for anything that I would not use to help someone else. Finally, I will be eternally greatful if you were to consider helping me.

I just got out of the hospital after Congestive Heart Failue, I am 55 years old and trying to finish my college education. I own some fees from last semester which re keepin me from registering for summer or fall classes. I need help to ay my fees or I will also have to move off campus by August. Please help me with finacial fees so I can see my dream of graduation come true before my health will no longer allow me. I go to the University of Missouri St Louis and I will not be able to do work study thissummer because I am not registered for class. I inted to write a book of this ordeal if the Lord wills me the time and I hope it will be on Oprah's Book Club. I write poetry and received an A in that course. I am trying to get my non-for-profit certificate from our program so I can help other seniors who want to make a difference before they leave this earth, please contact me Oprah, or anyone who has the means and money available to help in this difficult situation. hank You Julia Strong

My husband is the Pastor of Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston Missouri.
He has been the Assistant Pastor of Opportunity COGIC for 25 years but never desired to Pastor. This task is great because the chuch he took on as Pastor was dying and the people was Spiritually Dead. We could certainly relate to the story of Jonah. I didn't want to go at first, but I had to say Yes to God. We are now trying to build God a house. The cost of a new church is $400,000 four hundred thousand. All donations are Tax Deductable. I am from Hawaii, and not sure if you'd ever receive this message, but thought i'd write and see if any one out there is actually reading this mails. I am co-chairing project grad night for our local school here on the island of Hawaii. This drug, alcohol and smoke-free events provides a mean to parents that their child will be returning to them the very next morning. No worries if there child will return or not. We try to keep the kids activity levels up all night til the next morning. We are generously asking if you could help us in getting the interactive games and activities needed for there "UP ALL NIGHT" party. Our budget for this project is $35,000. We would gladly accept what fits your budget. If you ever receive this message, I would gladly respect your answer of a "NO" or "YES". Its not that I am being to harsh, but just don't want my hopes up for the kids if this comments we leave isn't even being read by the one and only Oprah Winfrey. I seen alot of people gve away money i do all the time not 1000 dollars on 300 people at one time but sure i buy a few kids an ice creem when they want one but money shouldnt be able to make you happy no money no happyness ? Oprah you are an angle and god bless you but if you want to do something for some one pray pray for the people that sit at home and with they had a house or a car even a job but never get it because they have no money
so like i said no money = sadness money = happness Because thats how you puting it off one tv and im not BUYING iT

I'm writing in hope you will be able to assist with our fundrasing efforts to provide toys to the children in our community. Currently we raised $88 dollars towards our goal of $2000.00. We've reached out to local corporation and they do not feel this is a large enough issue to make a contribution. All the funds we received will be used to purchasing toys for the children that attend our Christmas party on December 13, 2008. If, you would consider donating toys we would be very grateful.

dear, oprah, i am a 38 year old mother of two teenage daughters.i am currently enrolled in lpn school. i work at night ,7pm. to 7am. at springhill medical centen in springhill la. when i get off work , i go to class. its very hard for me right now. i am married, but seperated, and one of my daughters is graduating in may, 2009. i dont have transportation, but has been using my dads car. i have missed alot of school cause of this. im not asking you for a car or money, but is there anything that you can do to help me so that i can have a way to work and school. i would accept anything that you can do for me.is ther some kind of grant that can help me? i am all in debt over my ears. please, if you can, help me to continue my schooling.

I am looking for help for my daughter she has a lot of health problems and only can work 3 days a week she is not suppose to work that but has a husband who is on disablity and cant work either she has 4 children and needs a Car so she can get back and forth to work and to the dr. when she needs to go or one of her chrildren or husband I would really be most greatful if you or someone who reads this could help she lives from pay check to pay check as I know that a lot of people do I know that you have helped alot of people and I pray that you can help her. Her children are from ages 17 to 8 and they as most kids want a lot for Christmas so if you could help please let me know ... We have about 300 members, which mostly is the youth who survied from drugs as well majority of unemployed indivisuals and disadvantage back ground. We are currently Praising the Lord under the sail tent, due to insufficient funds 2 build a proper church.
