I've always loved Avril Lavigne, she's been my role model since I was 7 I think. I've always been quite like her, and when I found out she had become so girly and all, I really didn't know if I could get over it, but I did, cause of all the interviews I heard from her saying she hadn't changed that much and she still had rock songs in her album and everything. But I read a magazine recently and it said she had got a nose job etc. and you're right, she keeps on going on about how Hilary Duff's a 'mommy's girl' when she's becoming just like her! I've always loved Avril Lavigne...but I hate the new her. And I agree, the girlfriend song is not a good message to be sending to little kids. She's dressed so weird in the video, it's like she's a different person...I've always wanted to be like her, be famous like her and to sing and write my own songs like her (which I've been working very hard at), but I know one thing, if I were to ever become famous, I would NEVER let my fans down like that...
Yh, it's actually not the fact that she's girly now that bothers me, it's the fact that she's being so hypocritical and the fact that she's made her songs so lame. I heard one from her new album, and I could have sworn it was for 3 year olds!

those pictures are from totally different angles with different lighting.
i think ur stupid if u fall for something like this.
clearly the person who wrote this is just asking for attention and is only pointing out other peoples flaws to make them feel better.
i think we can all agree that even if i hate avril that she is a very beautiful girl.
prettier then most people.
and most likely a hell of a lot prettier then the person who wrote this article.
please stop spreading stupid rumours.
and stop trying to get attention.

Right, can i just get one thing clear. they're showing a picture of Avril at 16 years old, and another of her in her 20's . She has a sharper face than before, it makes the features on her face look different .... Plus she is smiling in one of those pictures, course her nose is going to look bigger ?!?!
any Avril fan would know , that Avril Lavigne is against plastic surgery

she really is a sellout. her CD let go was my first and i loved her soo much and i looked up to her. i also loved under my skin. but when the best damn thing came out i was really dissapointed. she has pink and blonde hair and she sends out the 'IM BETTER THAN EVERYONE CUZ I GOT BLONDE HAIR AND I MAKE GAY MUSIC!!' message with her dumb song girlfriend. avril lavigne is a stupid sellout.

anyone who thinks this first-rate poseur has any talent has seriously no brains...oh but wait, i guess that's a requirement of being a lavigne fan.
from these two pictures, it *is* so obviously a nose job. you can see the tip of the nose has had some "shaving" off done in the second pic. of course avril supporters won't agree to this so hey i guess they're both dumb AND blind!

I see nothing wrong with her wanting to be prettier (if she did get a nose job or anything else for that matter). I actually want her to be prettier. I want all of my celebs to be hot. Hah. As for selling out- they all sell out at some point! Once they get a taste of fame...they don't want to lose it.

She wasn't nice before the nose job and dying blond, she isn't better now. Just an ordinary girl, no talent, no appearance - she's NOBODY at all. I still don't understand people, who like her and her 'music'.

Avril is beautiful in both pictures. I can't tell if she has had a nose job or not. I can tell, however, that she is very good - one hit after another.......so, whoever it is that writes this negitive stuff about Av, is a jealous loser.Avril Lavigne is the BEST!!!!

avrils life she can do whatever she wants, and be this big influence on those young ones, which would probly be a big mistake. if she wanted to live like a normal living being she should have thought about that years ago about the consenqences of what she'd put into their minds. sum of her actions and speeches are great but look on the other hand and think about it. and theres called a lil forgiveness and acceptance, so try it out why dont you.

its so silly to say the person that wrote this article is jealous. maybe when you're in 5th grade and you haven't learned to analyze then its valid to say so and so is jealous. but really, once you get older, you see how the world really is, and you also start to discover actual MUSIC. and avril lavigne IS a disgusting sell out. her first two cds could be more genuine. but all you have to do is look at the cover of her 3rd cd to realize that her top priority now is to target pre teen girls. she doesn't stand for anything. she's turned into a barbie who will become as mainstream plastic as possible if it means more money.
and BTW, don't buy from her clothing line. besides that the clothing is horribly designed, they're made in a goddamn sweat shop by little kids!
