So Much for Marriage Who had seven days in the Aaron Carter engagement pool?

A week after announcing his future marriage to former Playmate, Keri Ann Peniche, the young singer has called it off.

"It was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet," Carter, 18, said.

We can't believe we're saying this, but: well done, Aaron. You seem to have reached a mature decision, following a rather impromptu decision. Other stars should follow your example and see they aren't ready for nuptials.

Yes, we're looking at you, Britney Spears.

I was shocked to hear that it was a woman that Aaron was engaged to. Glad for his, and her sake, that they called it off!
