Lindsay Lohan may be a spoiled waif of a perpetual party-goer, but there's one thing she isn't: a drug user.

MSNBC's The Scoop reports that the star of Mean Girls saw what drugs did to her father - and has never ventured beyond the use of marijuna as a result.

"I've seen my father," Lohan said. "I've seen how it messes with families and [bleeps] your life up. If I hadn't witnessed that, I may have gone a different route. I don't know. But I've seen how it tore my parents apart."

Those are almost sage words from the 20-year old. Lohan's father was recently jailed for a variety of charges including assault and drunk driving.

"He has never done anything for my family or for my career," she said. "I don't have any respect for someone who has treated my mother the way he has and by not being a responsible father."

As she garnered an ounce of sympathy for her incredibly skinny self, Lindsay made a point of pumping up her ego, as well. Like she could have it any other way.

"I feel I have a lot of talent, but I'm only now getting to do the kinds of projects where I can push myself and show what I can do ... I'm pretty ambitious and I want to have a very interesting career."
