See! We said the latest Jessica Simpson album cover was a tad intense for this typically cheery beauty. Apparently her handlers (what a great job that is!) agreed.

Here is an image of the NEW CD for Simpson's "A Public Affair," set to hit stores on August 29.

    Jessica Simpson is a beautiful woman, who is just being herself, and Jess is better off doing the thing she does best than being without Nick, and thats singing. Public Affair is a great song, Im listening to it now.. She knows how to strings some nice notes together. Love ya Jess xoxo.. and P.s Jess is way hotter than Vanessa

    "A Public Affair" is a HORRIBLE song!I was so surprised to hear it when it was released. I'm never a fan of Jessica, but as long as the song is good, I will like it. However the new song is very caotic and she sounds like an amature 13-year-old. To be honest I'd rather to listen to Paris Hilton's "Stars are blind".
