Thank you Liz for speaking the truth. I too am Puerto Rican and I ran across this page and was shocked by all of foolishness that young lady had written. Her ignorance is a product of her family not teaching her the history of our people or they are teaching her a version that is very incorrect.

I am truly amazes at the remarks of "Sandra" and the likes "Baghdady" - this is the 21 century y'all - get over this bs - we have been here from the get go and will be here to the end "Accept it". Freedom if speech is a Human Right - so if Bookman wants to express how he feels or what he thinks let him do so as he may not be alone in his feelings as will be other "idiots that agrre with the "sandra's of this world - and Ms Sandra as you have been told "puerto ican are not white contray to you dum a$$ belief. I am proud to be black and a black women and beaury is not reflected in the color of your skin - it's a combination of "qualities" - but Sandra nad your frenz y'all wont know that cuz y'all is all missing that... Step into the present and future the world you live in is multi cultural and you have got know choice - however, you can commit suicide and rid this world of one more bigot and if you can find like minded folks like yourself you may want to encourage them to probably do a mass suicide bid - cuz us "normal" human beings are sick and tired of this black white bs.

To comment on what Baghdady had to say about If 99.999% of the world were given the option to choose their race they would choose white, I don't agree because 99.999% none African Americans spend 99.999% in taning beds and 99.999% out in the hot ass sun trying their best to be what God created African Americans to be, Black.

Yeah, and I 'understand' Hitler. The fact of the matter is that racist crap is racist crap no matter whose lips it escapes from. There is no more justification for a black person to be spouting hatred just because he or she belongs to a so-called 'minority' which feels aggrieved not to be part of the majority. Even the most cursory study of global history would reveal the trouble caused by hate-fuelled minorities and the frequently extreme nature of their remarks.

Before I begin. I am not black nor white. How many black women do you hear in the news who are sleeping around with so many men and going in and out of rehab? how many sex videos of paris hilton britney spears pamela anderson etc are there? I dont see many black celebrity sex videos? If white women are going to behave like slags, then what do they expect? If white people are so proud to be white then why are there so many tanning salons and fake tanning products? why do they go abroad to become darker? why do they listen to black music and try to copy the way black people dress and talk? If it isnt because they like them then why do they do it? what I cannot understand is why are there so many racist white people if so many of them want to be darker.
NB: Black music is the BEST in my opinion and I hope them all the best. Its also unfair to say that all black people are ugly, because believe me I have seen my fair share of ugly white people. I'd rather have Beyonce, Tyra Banks or Rihanna than Britney, Paris hilton, lindsay lohan ( all of whom are total disgraces to the human race) Did I mention that very few of the white women we are talking about have very little, if any talent at all. Need I say any more.
As you can see, I am not in favour of white people, and this is due to the constant racism which I recieve in merry England.

Hey Fez, there are racists in every racial group, don't make it sound like all racists are white. I'm white and I'm a realist not a racist. There are plenty of 'sleep around' people in 'black' society too, check out hip hop culture, and girls like 'Superhead' Steffans who brag about their sexual exploits and sell their stories. Black people have been known to do porn too lol. Also, just check out the numbers, there are a lot more white people than black in the US and the UK for example, so you're gonna hear a lot more about them, whatever they do. Do you think it's somehow ok for black people to make racist and sweeping remarks about white people but not the other way round? Hitler or Saddam Hussein might have been a disgrace to the human race, but Lindsay Lohan? Try and keep things in perspective eh!

One more point, ever heard of M.Jackson, W.Houston, D.Ross, N.Campbell, Snoop Doggy D.? Just a few fairly well known (black) celebs who've had rehab and/or have other ongoing 'fame' issues... get with the program dude. Most celebs like to 'party hard' and show off and some of them end up thinking they're above the law and start believing in their own mythology. Doesn't matter what colour skin they've got but obviously you choose to notice the white ones. Incidentally, if M.Jackson is so proud to be black, why did he choose to become 'white' and if black celebs, especially women, are so proud to be black why do they spend so much money straightening their hair or wearing wigs so their hair looks 'white'?

Racism is racism is racism, regardless of who says it and who they direct it towards. Bookman's song was full of racism--not only against whites, but mixed people as well. So it surprises me that there are blacks out there that don't understand why this song upsets people. Blacks, of ALL people, should understand why racism isn't well tolerated... Only about half an hour ago, I, a WHITE female, signed a petition for the Jena 6 (a group of black students discrimated against in Louisiana)... This is just ridiculous. Blacks and other minorities are always upset, and rightfully so, about being discrimated against... but when a minority makes a racist comment about the majority, we are expected to hold our tongues? Get real, people. Blacks should be proud of their ethnicity--they have a rich culture and they should never be ashamed of it. But the same goes for whites and all other races as well. It's about time we all learned to respect eachother--something Bookman, and many of the authors of previous comments, haven't figured out yet.

in a way this song is good and bad. i believe that black women need to be honored more and african women because we are the original women of rythm, bodies, and not to mention the oldest human fossil found was in africa (it was a woman too/ so does tha mean we're tha first race?). but i dnt agree bashing white women because all women diserve respect no matter what race. and if a man goes with a woman of his race or different race and shud be because she likes her.

I think that this song is racists but
I do think that women like Serena and venus willams should be recognized as well as their type of beauty.
As far as Britney spears is concerned she only started to come across as ugly when she started becoming dirty and flashing her vagina all around the media
I think beauty is the way you carry yourself and Britney spears right now is just acting like trash

and for that I DO THINK that women like India. Arie and Serena williams are far more beautiful than she is

I just had to respond to the person who said that if anyone had a choice, 99.9% of people would choose to be white. I just wanted to go on record as saying that I must be in the .1% of people who wouldn't. I can only say that because I've actually given it some thought, as I'm sure many non-white people have when coming to terms with the way the world tends to view black people, and how some of us view ourselves.
I may not like what's become of mainstream black culture, but strictly speaking of what are the obvious range of physical characteristics amongst black people, and the more ephemeral qualities that can't be proven (NO, I'm not talking about sexuality or rhythm or any of those stereotypes), I consider it a blessing beyond measure to be in this body. I would never, ever, ever wish to be anything other than black. The things I consider beautiful about myself, I consider beautiful because they are black characteristics, not in spite of it.
Outside of the physical, I guess one other thing I like about being who I am is not suffering from the psychosis that makes it so difficult to believe that people who are unlike me, wish they weren't. I don't believe that all white people feel that way, and I realize that conversely, some black people do. But it's the unscientific observation of my life as lived thus far that conciously or (most of the time) unconciously, white people are the most likely to assume that everyone wants to be like them, or that all the positive things that people want to attain for themselves are in imitation of white people.
Luckily, maturity and the employment of intelligence prevents me from feeling anything other than mirth regarding this arrogance. I just don't take it seriously. And that's why, in addition to the pleasure of living in this beautiful black body, the words of people like bagdadwhatever and "KKK" mean nothing. Let them flap their gums. They've got a right, don't they, to free speech? But recognize them as they are--essentially irrelevant in a world that continues to grow beyond them, and render them, and people like them, obselete.

There are pretty people of every ethnicity, and if you find a hot caucasian girl, you can find a hotter ebony girl, which can be topped by a hotter asian, which can be topped by a hotter hispanic.
You will keep doing this and it will never end, but unfortunantly for close-minded people that just want to think one way and ignore even the most obvious facts, then this is futile to try and point out.

And as contreversial as this sounds, only white people can be racist, the definition of racism is, a person of majority having hatred towards a person of minority. black people, and puerto rican people can't really be racist, but they sure can be HATEFUL!!
