Gyllenhaal Rides with Lance ... While Studying for Role?

This makes a lot more sense now. Many people had been wondering why Jake Gyllenhaal had been spending SO much time with Lance Armstrong, considering the rather attractive Natalie Portman the actor had waiting for him at home.

Turns out the Brokeback Mountain star was NOT trying to recreate that movie with the seven-time Tour de France champion.

Instead, Gyllenhaal is interested in playing Armstrong in a upcoming Sony biopic about the cancer surviving, cycling champion.

Of course, this pair hasn't been riding alone for the past few weeks. They've been out with Matthew McConaughey in Malibu lately. People magazine's sexiest man isn't training for any role, though. He just wants to show off his body for the ladies.
