Rapper Ne-Yo thinks Britney Spears can do better than current deadbeat husband Kevin Federline, and is encouraging the pregnant popster to drop it like it's hot! It being Federline.

The 23-year old Ne-Yo, who is helping Spears work on some new material, doesn't like what he hears about her wannabe rapper spouse, and considers K-Fed to be a worthless, gold-digging mooch.

"I don't know the guy, but I know people that know him and he seems to be a guy who caught a break," Ne-Yo said. "He's a bit of a freeloader."

The rapper confirms that he's working with Spears, but is staying tight-lipped about the collaborations... for now.

"I've done one session for her, but now she's pregnant it may be put on hold for a while. I'm not allowed to talk about her sound though, her people want it kept under wraps," he said.

We have to agree with Ne-Yo on this one. Federline should get his ass in gear or get out of Brit's life. But he won't. The chances of K-Fed getting a job are only slightly greater than someone busting a cap in Heather Mills. Busting something else in Heather Mills? That's another story. Did we mention the Britney Spears nude pics we came across earlier today? Don't get your hopes up, guys, but there is something alluring about them...

We're not called The Hollywood Fact Sheet, ok? It looks as though Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake have NOT broken up after all.

Late last week, Diaz, the actress was cruising around L.A ... in Timberlake's BMW. It's either the friendliest ending to a relationship of all-time, or the initial report of the couple's demise was false.
Timberlake's manager, Johnny Wright, agrees with the latter statement.

"There is no breakup," he said.

A source adds that Diaz attended a June 22 rehearsal for her Justin's upcoming tour. Also, on the 25th, the couple flew to Barcelona, Spain, where Timberlake was due to film the video for his first single, "SexyBack," off his album FutureSex/LoveSounds.

As Timberlake's buddy and former *NSYNC member, Chris Kirkpatrick, 34, told Us Weekly:

"Justin talks about Cameron all the time. He says she thinks for herself and he likes that because he didn't see that quality in girls he dated before."

Ouch. Somewhere, Britney Spears is turning in her grave.

We know, we know - Superman Returns is barely in theaters. And we're already hyping the NEXT big comic book movie. But have you seen the recently released trailier for Spider-Man 3?!?

The amazing Britney Spears has apparently been photographed.

Nude.

But it's a bit of a letdown, since the pregnant pop princess is carrying the latest of Kevin Federline's many babies.

The August edition of Harpers Bazaar magazine contains a revealing photo spread of Brit that conjures up images of the controversial Vanity Fair cover featuring Demi Moore, back in the day when Demi Moore was actually popular.

In the magazine, Britney the brunette is shown close-up and sprawled out on her back -- with bump in plain sight. It is sort of cool, in that it's all very natural. Raw. But at the same time it's slightly disturbing. We aren't gonna lie.

We've read reports today that some pictures have since been removed from the edition of the magazine at the request of Britney, however that has neither been confirmed or denied.

Britney confessed to being a little shocked on discovering she was pregnant again, but said it helped that her deadbeat husband was there for support.

"I was shocked because it was so soon and I was a little scared at first. Yes, I was very surprised. [Kevin] was a little shocked too. But his shock turned to excitement and he said, 'Let's just go for it.'"

Spears also admitted her disgust at the tabloid media for accusing her of being a bad mother.

"You would think that the editors of all these magazines have children and that they wouldn't go there. It's really distasteful... You look at it and think it's absurd but the public don't know what really goes on and you feel weird because you have to defend yourself to these ignorant people."

Estranged wife and possible former call girl Heather Mills McCartney has been taking quite the spanking by the press of late, but she believes it could soon get a lot worse.

Mills is apparently concerned that she may be assassinated like late Beatle John Lennon. The 38-year old, soon-to-be ex of Sir Paul McCartney fears she will be attacked like his former band mates Lennon and George Harrison, who was once stabbed by a crazed fan.

The model and animal rights activist is also concerned about the safety of her two-year old daughter with McCartney, Beatrice. Mills has been spotted railing against passers-by and paparazzi outside her home, presumably due to how upset she is regarding stories about arms dealers railing her.

"John Lennon was shot and George Harrison was stabbed and loads of kids are kidnapped," Mills said. "People are pursuing me round the country. I said stay away from my baby. I have a catalog of evidence."

The star of "Sexual Secrets," who has been staying with her sister since splitting from Paul, is clearly having a rough go of it, with her frequent outbursts sparking concern among friends about her mental state.

No one tell Charlie. The news may drive him off the wagon.

Nevertheless, Lost actress Emilie de Ravin, who plays Claire Littleton, has married actor Josh Janowicz. The couple lives in Los Angeles and wed June 19.

Janowicz proposed on Jan. 1, 2005 while visiting de Ravin's family in Australia. Fortunately, the duo's flight actually made it back to the States.

Both are 24 years old and have recently starred in a pair of films; for De Ravin it was the thriller The Hills Have Eyes, while Janowicz will play a role in the yet-to-be-released On the Doll.

Jessica Simpson's new album, "A Public Affair," will be released August 29. But fans won't need to wait that long to get a glimpse of this gorgeous singer ... and a few of her hottest friends.

As the one-time Daisy Duke planned to shoot the video for her new single, she made a couple of calls. Soon enough, pals Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate and Christina Milian all joined the pop star for a rollerskating themed shoot. Even metrosexual American Idol host Ryan Seacrest makes an appearance.

It looks as though Jessica is having a bit more fun with her record than somber ex, Nick Lachey. His single, "What's Left of Me," is profound and moving, but quite melancholy.

"My album's definitely a reflection of where I am this very moment. It's happy, it's summer, I just want to get out with my girlfriends and have a good time and enjoy myself," said Simson.

How, exactly, did Simpson get so many pretty ladies to lace up skaes for a day?

"She said you better be there biatch!" said Applegate. "No. She just asked me please, so I said of course."

Longoria was a little worried about the shoot since it had been a while since she last laced up.

"8th grade maybe. It's been a while, but Applegate is an expert so if I fall, I'm bringing her down with me."

Going down with Longoria and Applegate? We'll meet the women there!

Looks like Jessica Simpson isn't the only person who thinks her sister has a hot body. Rob Shuter, Ashlee's publicist, has confirmed that the diva was approached about posing for Playboy ... in the nude!

The price of this offer? A whopping $4 million! On tour, promoting her latest album, "I Am Me," Ashlee reportedly turned down the offer.

Good thing. It's hard to believe Papa Joe Simpson would approve of his youngest daughter shedding it all in public. It would've been quite the opposite career angle as taken by Jessica and her virginity.

Nicole Kidman and crazy former spouse Tom Cruise may have pulled a fast one on the Catholic Church and blinded it... with Scientology!

While it has been speculated that Kidman got her first marriage annulled so that she and Keith Urban could marry in a Catholic chapel, it turns out she and Cruise weren't legally married in the first place -- as far as the Catholic Church is concerned, at least.

Father Paul Coleman, the longtime Kidman family friend and priest who presided over the Kurban nuptials in Sydney, Australia, told the BBC that in Kidman's first marriage, the requirements for a valid union were not fulfilled. She wed Cruise in private, in accordance with his Church of Scientology views.

"The Catholic Church sets down requirements to have a valid Catholic marriage," he said, referring to this past Sunday's wedding as a spiritual homecoming for Kidman.

You don't have to be Catholic yourself, interestingly, but you do have to seal the deal in a Catholic place of worship, which Cruise and Kidman did not. Therefore, while Catholicism frowns on divorce as a rule, the fact that Cruise and Kidman parted ways in 2001 did not affect her second trip down the aisle.

Chances were slim that Kidman would have been granted an annulment, though, given that they were legally married for 10 years, a long time to suddenly claim that the union was fraudulent, entered into under misleading circumstances or other such reasons people give for erasing a marriage from the record books.

On a happier note, after Kidman and Urban were cleared to get hitched in a romantic, cliffside Catholic ceremony, they were good to go on a romantic, secluded honeymoon before returning to their new home in Nashville, Tenn. The newlyweds were spotted boarding the blushing bride's private jet and were reportedly bound for either Fiji or Tahiti.

Wow. There's American Idol news that does NOT concern Taylor Hicks or Katharine McPhee.

No offense to those talented crooners, but The Gossip was curious about various past finalists. We've now received news that Constantine Maroulis is working on his debut CD, one he compares to artists such as Bon Jovi, Rob Thomas and even a bit of Ricky Martin.

Also in the studio is fellow fourth season finalist, Anthony Federov (aka "A-Fed). He says his first album will be "ballad-heavy, very powerful and strong." We can't wait.

Finally, let's hear it for Jon Peter Lewis! He's working with a drummer that's spent time with Vertical Horizon and Josh Grobin, while his debut single, "If I Go Away" has just been released.
