Pitt, Affleck Grace List of Top Hollywood Fathers

In the wake of Father's Day, Life & Style saw fit to pay tribute to the most underappreciated of roles: the famous father. Herewith is a list of those the publication considered worth recognizing (a write-in campaign for Kevin Federline is underway):

Brad Pitt, the new dad - How many men go from no kids to three in one year? While holding on to his boyish charm?

Chris Martin, rocker dad - Married to Gwyneth Paltrow and father to two-year-old Apple and two-month-old Moses, this musician tastefully juggles life at home and on the road.

Matthew Broderick, city dad - Hitched to former Sex & the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, and a constant fixture on Broadway for years, Broderick shows three-year old James around NYC regularly.

Who Doesn't Love Will Smith? Will Smith, funny dad - He wrote a song about one of his children and is always seen smiling brightly next to wife, Jada Pinkett. Five-year old daughter, Willow, will appear on screen with Smith shortly.

David Arquette, wacky dad - He frightens us sometimes, too, but Courtney Cox-Arquette doesn't seem to mind his antics; not does little Coco Riley.

Ryan Phillippe, Mr. Mom - Just try to track down this actor without daughter, Ava, and son, Deacon, by his side. And that gorgeous woman next to him is Oscar-winning wife, Reese Witherspoon.Affleck is an Awesome Dad

Guy Richie, spiritual dad - His wife is a busy woman, leaving Guy often in charge of stepdaughter, 9-year-old Lourdes, and son, 5-year-old Rocco.

Heath Ledger, hipster dad - The ultimate bohemian, Heath has taken time off to remain close to seven-month old daughter, Matilda Rose. He also dote on fiance, Michelle Williams.

Ben Affleck, working dad - While shooting his directorial debut in Boston, Ben keeps wife Jennifer Garner, and newborn daughter, Violet Anne, close at all times.

Cruising Solo, Promoting M:I-3 in Japan

Tom is Cruising solo in Japan this week, flying across the Pacific as part of a promotional tour for Mission: Impossible 3.

Fiancee Katie Holmes and baby daughter Suri were nowhere in sight, but clearly on the minds of the Japanese media.

Tom Hits Japan"Unfortunately, I wanted to bring them but Suri, it'd be too much for her, we're only going to be here for a day and a half," Cruise told reporters.

Suri is the only one of the recent deluge of celebrity babies who has yet to be seen, making the media frenzy surrounding Cruise (already the world's biggest star) extraordinarily high.

At the press conference, the crazy one gushed about his three kids (he has two adopted children, Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, with ex-wife Nicole Kidman) and, at one point, said he hopes to have 10 offspring someday. Gulp.

He did not comment on whether each of their births will conveniently coincide with the premiere of his films.

When asked whether TomKat will become official and marry, Tom responded that they "haven't set a date yet, but soon, it'll be this year."

The two are reportedly finalizing a prenuptial agreement before making it legal. After the Japan premiere of M:I-3, Cruise is expected to ride the bullet train to Osaka with 150 fans on Wednesday. Along the way, he may or may not ridicule fans for their beliefs in psychiatry.

Bilson and Brody Eat for a Good Cause

Rachel Bilson The OC may suck, but one good thing appears to have come out of the one-time enjoyable FOX drama: Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody. B-squared and all its glory were on display last week at Memphis, a southernrestaurant on Hollywood Boulevard

Well-known chef, Yossi, was cooking up delights and proceeds were benefitting the Los Angeles Mission. This young, happy couple joined the festivies, along with Dustin Hoffman and former Lost castaway Michelle Rodriguez.

Bilson commented on her own culinary skills:

"I love to cook. I'm learning more and more," she said. "I've mastered turkey meatloaf recently. You gotta start somewhere, right?"Adam Brody

Brody will probably take any home-cooked meal he can get. Meanwhile, Bilson dished up more than mere cooking thoughts. She advised celebrity couples who wished to remain out of the spotlight with the straightforward advice of, "don't go everywhere together."

Makes sense to us. Of course, you can probably take out the last word when it comes to Britney's worse half: Just don't go anywhere, K-Fed.

U.S. Will Nix Penny Over Federline's Disgusting, Unfortunately Still-Living Body

It appears that Kevin Federline is getting his act together and lobbying for a noble cause. Well, perhaps not the first part. Or the second.

Regardless, the gold-digging, white trash rapping aspirant is joining billionaire Virgin mogul Richard Branson to campaign for "penny awareness," according to a press release.

Yes, we're serious.Federline's Net Worth

The U.S. Government is debating whether or not to elimate the shiny copper one-cent piece of currency. And Federline feels compelled to try and stop this. Why? Because it represents his career earnings? Because he can probably steal a few pennies while he's there to pay off his credit card debt? We can't say.

In any case, Federline and Branson will be stopping by Times Square in New York City to highlighting the value of the penny and sign the "Save the Penny" petition, which will be presented to lawmakers in Washington D.C.

They will also be collecting pennies for charity to show that the penny, alone or collectively, carries weight and makes a difference.

This stunt smacks, at least to the Gossip, of a stunt by K-Fed to improve the public's perception of him. Which makes sense to a degree. With his current reputation as a backup dancer who can't dance, and a mooch who constantly impregnates people, he can only go up.

But does anyone really care if the penny is eliminated? Would it impact society negatively whatsoever? Who really wants to devote time to this? People are dying of hunger and disease. Tens of thousands are still struggling to recover from last year's hurricane season. Endangered species are suffering extreme habitat loss. Screech Powers is about to be homeless. Isn't there a more worthwhile cause? You people are idiots.

And why is Richard Branson associating with this guy in any way? Federline is a disease in his own right. It's only a matter of time before Branson is hit up for money. Let's just hope he makes K-Fed sign a prenup.

Aiken for a Change: Green Beret Regrets Affair Story

Even though Clay Aiken wasn't the actual winner of American Idol two years ago, one man claimed he was won over by this crooner ... in bed! Now, however, former Green Beret, John Paulus, regrets going public with the story.

After taking the tale to the National Enquirer, Paulus isn't retracting its validity, merely stating he "regrets" announcing it to the world.

"I regret defying the trust of Clay;" Paulus wrote on his blog. "I regret hurting him, his family and his fans; I regret that I started a blog that ridiculed him. ... I apologize to Clay for that and I hope he will accept."

Referring to his dClay Will Carry Onecision to open up to the country's most well-known tabloid, Paulus said it was "very callow and selfish moment." He then changed his mind and tried to get the story killed - even taking legal measures - but his efforts were fruitless.

They're also false, according to the publication.

"Our reporter couldn't get him off the phone," National Enquirer editor David Perel said. Perel says he doesn't remember Paulus having a legal letter sent, but says even if there was one, Paulus is "completely distorting" the story.

"It's not a situation where he told the story one time," Perel said. "He engaged in multiple conversations with our reporter. He couldn't stop talking, and then he talked to reporters after it was out."

Sounds like more controversy than this season's decision to vote off Chris Daughtry!

Ding, Ding! Lindsay Lohan, Diddy Square Off

Even with Madonna on her side, we're not sure if Lindsay Lohan can handle her latest feud. You simply don't cross the man (currently) known as Diddy.

Us Weekly that the pair engaged in a shouting match on June 16 at a Prince concert. The location? New York City club, Butter. The reason the hot spot is called that?We have no idea. The set up? Read on.

It's On! Sean "Diddy" Combs apparently took a seat with Lohan's pals at her table. When the emaciated one returned from the bathroom, she jokingly asked Diddy "You're sitting at my table?"

It may have been an attempt at humor, but it missed its mark by a long shot. Diddy flipped out. Sources say he screamed at this talentless excuse for a singer, proving once and for all that more money (and more anorexia) does lead to more problems.

Another source recalls the fight as follows: "Lindsay was in party mode. When he ignored her, she became rambunctious." According to an eyewitness, as Lohan walked out, she yelled, "No one can treat me like that! I don't care if you are Puffy!"

Lin, he hasn't been Puffy in years. We don't care if you're hooked on shopping or spoiled beyond belief, but get your Diddy monikers correct!

Christina Aguilera, New Video Set to Premiere

After previewing her new song, "Ain't No Other Man," at the MTV Movie Awards, Christina Aguilera is set to show fans across the nation her latest video.

X-Tina is at it Again

"This is the first reflection of what the new album is about," said Christina about the video, "and I had to get every detail locked in and get the right director who shared my vision and making sure it has a throw back appeal with a modern day flare."

That job fell to Bryan Barber. The director of the upcoming OutKast film "Idlewild" stepped in for the shoot and watched as Christina shook her thang. The set up stars this bombshell as a jazz-era blues singer who, after a world tour, returns to her hometown juke joint.

MTV's "Making the Video" for "Ain't No Other Man" premieres tomorrow night at 10pm.

Paris and Heather Team up Against Fur

Paris Hilton, meet Heather Mills. Animals everywhere are already grateful for this acquaintance.

Sources claim that Hilton - who has been known to wear fur in the past - became alarmed after watching a gruesome PETA video at the home of Paul McCartney ex, lewd wife. The footage showed dogs being skinned alive for their fur.
Paris is Ugly
Mills told Hilton that going the "fake fur route wasn't foolproof, because some high-end department stores labeled certain garments "artificial fur" when in fact they were the real deal. Say it ain't so!

Hilton reportedly vowed on the spot never to wear fur again. She also asked Mills just wear she could purchase a riding crop and nipple tassles.

According to Paris' rep, Elliot Mint, "Paris does not wear fur, nor will she wear fur described as artificial fur knowing it came off the backs of animals."

Mintz say he and Hilton are "greatful to Heather for educating us on this terrible subject." See, Beyonce? We could all learn a thing or two from these loose women.

Angelina, Brad Criticized by Namibian Society

A Map of Namibia

A beautiful couple. Gods among mortals. Colonial overlords.

Brangelina can now lay claim to all of those titles, the latter of which was thrust upon them by the Namibia's National Society For Human Rights (NSHR). Based on the treatment Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt received in Namibia in the weeks leading up to the birth of their daughter, Shiloh, last month, a NSHR spokesman said:

"To shut down a national border so she can give birth in peace is a massive abuse of power."

The representative accused the superstar couple of "using heavy-handed and brutal tactics" to get the African country's government to aid their desire for total privacy. That's rough language. Wonder what this person had to say about Taking Lives.

Shocking Revelation: Bloom Enjoys Kissing Keira

Orlando Bloom confessed that he loves kissing Keira Knightley while filming the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels.

Special K"She's a great kisser and a lovely, and very funny, person," he said. "She's absolutely gorgeous."

You think? Bloom did admit that he does find shooting love scenes strange.

"Kissing scenes are a bit peculiar. It's like you play at it," he said.

Bloom, 29, who has been linked to Kate Bosworth, Claire Danes and Sienna Miller, may have an edge over many of his actor counterparts if he ever wants to make a serious play for Keira's heart. In the July issue of InStyle, Knightley says she prefers British men.

"Ask an American guy what his beauty regime is, and he'll tell you. Ask a Brit, and he'll say, ‘Er… Guinness?' I like that," she said.

The actress, 21, does admit to an affinity for one American: Johnny Depp, her co-star in the Pirates franchise. Asked which of her leading men was the best kisser, she replied, "Johnny Depp certainly wasn't bad."

Knightley is currently dating British actor Rupert Friend, 24, her c-ostar in 2005's Pride & Prejudice, for which she garnered an Oscar nomination.
