The Bourne Daugther.

Matt Damon and wife Luciana could be starring in such an aptly titled film now that their first child has entered the world. On Sunday, the couple welcomed all seven pounds and seven ounces of Isabella at the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood, FL.

A Bourne Leader?

A source close to the couple says that the new parents are now home and that the baby is "beautiful." What insight. Thank goodness for close sources.

For whatever reason, Damon and his wife didn't make major headlines with this life-changing occurrence. They actually seemed to prefer privacy over perputal paparazzi attention. Weird. The pair could learn a lesson or two from other recent parents.

According to Denise Richards, you can't help who you fall for.

"You can't help who you fall for," said Richards about her romance with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora.

Denise Richards and Daughters

In a two-part interview with Entertainment Tonight, which airs tonight and tomorrow, the 35-year old actress speaks candidly but emotionally about a very complicated love life. In January, she filed for divorce from Charlie Sheen. Again.

Then, in April, she filed court papers accusing him of being abusive and addicted to drugs, gambling and teen porn.

It gets better. Last week, a judge extended an existing restraining order against Sheen, requiring the dirtbag to stay at least 300 yards away from Richards. The couple have two daughters, Lola, 1, and Sam, 2.

Shortly after filing these papers, Richards began being linked to Sambora, who is in the middle of his own divorce with Heather Locklear. Richie and Heather have one daughter, eight-year old Ava. Further complicating matters is the fact that the couples were neighbors and friends.

"It's not good, but it is what it is. The four of us were friends, so it's not just odd for her. Charlie knew Richie, but it's always the women who get the brunt of it," said Richards, who said her relationship with Heather is irreparable, and railed against the media for its obsession with her and Locklear.

Yes, we said railed. About Denise Richards.

Poor Denise has enjoyed a reprieve from front-page news in recent weeks, what with Shiloh and all. And Sean Preston. What cuties.

She's young, she's hot ... and she wants YOU!

As long as you can sing, that is. Beyonce has launched a nationwide search for an all-girl band to accompany her upcoming solo tour. No, this won't be Destiny's Child II, but rather musicians meant solely to act as a touring ensemble.

Beyonce in Concert

Jay-Z's much hotter half is looking for percussion, keyboard, bass, guitar and horn players with a "look" - you know, that "it" persona, that glamorious quality that all stars possess and Kevin Federline just dreams about.

Auditions for the backup positions kick off next week, with sessions being held in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Burbank. Hopefuls must be at least 18 years old and will be asked to perform Knowles' hit, "Work It Out." Final cuts will be June 20.

Beyonce's second solo album, B'Day, hits shelves on September 5. You can also look for the starlet in December, starring alongside Eddie Murphy, Jaime Foxx and former American Idol contestant, Jennifer Hudson, in the film, Dreamgirls.

With her new tour kicking off on June 30, pop superstar Kelly Clarkson is looking for ways to stay in shape. That's not an easy task when you have a super-busy schedule, but the Texas cutie and inaugural American Idol winner manages to get it done.

"I do kick-boxing, I run bleachers, I have to keep my endurance up or I won't make it through a show! My songs are marathons," Kelly told the Yahoo! Insider.

The Original American Idol

Her other secret to maintaining a hot bod? Banning soda.

"I was really bad with Cokes," Clarkson said. "I had, like, nine Cokes a day. Now, if I have soda, it ruins me. It almost tastes like acid."

She's so passionate about eating well that she's hooked up with Glacéau's vitamin water beverages on a new ad campaign - one designed to get kids to kick their soda and junk food habits. Clarkson remembers going to public high school and eating in the pizza and burrito cafeteria lines.

Nowadays, she's singing a different tune and encouraging teens to eat healthy by serving as a judge for the finale of "vitaminschool," a recipe contest for students.

The contest recently awarded a $100,000 college scholarship to a high school girl whose healthy school lunch recipe -- a chicken fajita burger on a whole wheat bun -- won top honor.

"Kids aren't paying attention, so why not give them a healthy option," Kelly said. "I have a lot of young fans, so that's why we teamed up. I realize there's a lot of people looking at me and if you have a voice, you might as well make it a positive one."

At 24, Clarkson has already won two Grammys, two American Music Awards and 11 Billboard Awards. Her "Addicted!" tour opens at the end of this month in West Palm Beach, Fla., and will hit 25 cities by August. She'll be singing smash hits such as "Behind These Hazel Eyes," "Because of You" and "Since U Been Gone," without any lip-synching, thank you very much.

We're looking at you, Ashlee Simpson.

"I just think that's ridiculous," Kelly says. "People will come up to me and be like, 'Why do you do two shows and then take a day off?' And I say, 'Because I'm a singer!' I won a singing competition. If you need to lip synch, if you're that ill, take a day off!"

Kevin Federline isn't feeling so secure lately.

The wannabe rap star has been banished to the basement by wife Britney Spears as marital relations with between the two remaining chilly. As a result, Federline is reportedly worried about what's in store for him down the line.

K-Fed Pic

With the relationship in shambles, Federline is going to great lengths to preserve the lifestyle of white trash mooch to which he become accustomed.

According to the Sun, a British newspaper, he's been spotted in a Malibu mall collecting numerous credit card applications, in hopes of accumulating massive amounts of debt and planning for the future in his own sick way.

"He realized without Britney he has hardly any money coming in to sustain his flash lifestyle," says the Sun source. "He figures Britney will pick up the bill anyway when the divorce comes through because they will have to split everything, including debts."

The Gossip feels comfortable speaking for most of America when is says this loser needs to get dumped (and neutered) ASAP. Look at poor little Sean P. and his beautiful mother. They need a stable influence. Someone who will be there for them, through thick and thin, not put them on the fast track to an endless payday loan cycle.

Brit, if you're reading this, you gotta drop it like it's hot! It being K-Fed!

Why wait until the actual show on August 27? While the 58th annual Primetime Emmy Awards may prove to be entertaining, The Hollywood Gossip has your winners right here. Before the nominees are even announced, we're proud to present a list of who should take home a trophy in the major categories:

Oustanding Comedy Series: The Office, NBC. Please don't award Will & Grace simply because it ended this year. That sitcom had its day. No show makes the audience yearn to cringe in awkard hilarity as much as this Steve Carell vehicle.

Cast of The Office 2009

Outstanding Drama Series: Lost, ABC. Simply an unprecedented combination of character development and plot twists. Choose any episode and be transfixed to your television.

Lead Actors in Comedy Series: Zach Braff, Scrubs. For his facial expressions and line deliveries alone. Braff combines outright humor with sentimentality - along with sheer goofiness - unlike any actor on TV.

Lead Actress in a Comedy Series: Megan Mullally, Will & Grace. We'll give the show one award in honor of its impressive run. Mullally made the self-centered, spoiled Grace into a lovable, funny, sympathetic presence for years.

Lead Actor in a Drama Series: Kiefer Sutherland, 24. Honestly, we're just afraid of what Jack Bauer might do to us if he doesn't win.

Lead Actress in a Drama Series: Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars. Let's give a shout out to some new blood. While Edie Falco on The Sopranos has been terrific as always, Bell is the lead on TV's most popular under-the-radar series.

A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court claims that Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne, are responsible for serious injuries to a member of the paparazzi.

The paparazzo (which is apparently a word) was allegedly struck by an SUV carrying the Spears clan. The incident supposedly occurred in June 2004, when Lynne, Britney and younger sister Jamie Lynn left a Santa Monica pet store.

Britney Spears and her mom Lynne out and about

A number of paparazzi, including the plaintiff, Cullen Reavley, crowded around the vehicle. The lawsuit states that the car is owned by Lynne, who was also the one driving. Reavley (below), who may or may not have been switched from twin brother Will Ferrell at birth, fell to the ground and claims Lynne ran over his foot.

Paramedics and police were called and Reavley was taken to the hospital, but initially determined Lynne Spears committed no wrongdoing and she was not ticketed.

In the lawsuit filed at the Beverly Hills Courthouse claims Reavley has "head, neck, back and trunk" injuries, as well as others to extremities. The lawsuit does not state whether the junk in said trunk sustained any damage. The plaintiff also alleges general mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering, and that the incident will result in his permanent disability.

In addition to Britney, Reavley is suing Lynne and Britney Touring, Inc. for unspecified damages, in excess of $25,000. What the hell is Lynne and Britney Touring, Inc.? Who the heck knows. The lesson learned: Don't stand in the front of an SUV driven by Britney's crazy cellphone squawking mom.

For the second straight week, Chris Daughtry registered more downloads than this season's American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks.

Daughtry's cover of the Bon Jovi classic "Wanted Dead or Alive" (from the Idols' Encore album) registered 22,000 mp3 downloads last week, compared with 27,000 the previous week. Hicks' "Takin' It to the Streets" came in with 12,000, down from 16,000 the week before.

Taylor Hicks and Chris Daughtry

Taylor's single, which pairs "Takin' It to the Streets" with the ballad "Do I Make You Proud," hasn't officially gone on sale yet. It is expected to put up pretty big numbers when it does Tuesday. No figures are available for downloads of Katharine McPhee, who agreed to a record deal last week and has a single coming out as well.

The comparison between Daughtry and Hicks may not be fair, but it's an interesting one.

Simon Cowell and millions of viewers were stunned to see Daughtry finish fourth on Idol, and his early download sales reflect his popularity. If the North Carolina native can get people to buy a 20-year old song just because he sings it, imagine what will happen when he comes out with something original.

For reference, neither total is that impressive compared to the top spot -- Shakira sold 267,000 "My Hips Don't Lie" downloads last week alone.

Jessica Alba for Lindsay Lohan?!? The producers of Bill got the best of that deal this week - and they didn't even need to include any future draft picks.

After the star of Mean Girls dropped out due to a possible scheduling conflict - but more likely a pretentious personality conflict - Alba gladly stepped into the role in this independent film.

J. Alba Picture

She'll join Aaron Eckhart, Elizabeth Banks and Timothy Olyphant in a movie about a man fed up with his job who then finds his wife in bed with a local news anchor. Amazingly enough, Alba found time to play the part while also agreeing to reprise roles in sequels to Fantastic Four and Sin City.

Wait, so you can portray characters in big-time popcorn flicks AND small budget, critical darlings? Amazing. When it comes to life lessons, Lohan apparently hasn't learned this one yet.
