Baby, you're amazing.

That must be Josh Kelley's message to Grey's Anatomy star Katherine Heigl. Reps for both stars revealed to People that the beautiful couple is, indeed, engaged.

The couple met last year when Heigl, 27, appeared in a video for Kelley's song "Only You."

"At the end of the shoot, I said, 'You're gonna go eat dinner with us, and you can't say no,' " Kelly recounted. "So we ate, drank and just started hanging out after that."

The has pair made music together ever since .... sometimes literally. Kelley wrote a tune, "Katie's Song," for Heigl.

"There is really nothing more romantic than that," Heigl told People in December. "It was one of the most thrilling and romantic things that I've ever experienced, and it makes me really like him bad."

Awww. We wish this pairing a future competely opposite from that of Britney and K-Fed.

In between reports that she's been flirting with Jared Leto - and as she deals with negative movie press - Jessica Simpson found time to model for the July issue of Maxim.

She also opened up about what she's looking for in her next man (now that her and Nick Lachey truly are over):"A guy with a great imagination sends me through the rafters ... I love it!"
Listen up, guys - Simpson, 25, also reveals her smooching style. "I love to kiss with my eyes open," she says, "because I can take in the entire situation and know if I'm enjoying it or not."

Hubba, hubba. As you ponder images of Jessica's lips and tongue, she'd want you to think about her sister's body. According to this movie and pop star, Ashlee has the ideal figure.

"My sister has the most perfect boobs and skinniest legs," she says.

As opposed to the least perfect. But we digress. Simpson, who underwent a grueling diet and exercise program to get in shape for The Dukes of Hazzard, also talked about her upcoming flick, Employee of the Month. It co-stars Dane Cook.

"I didn't drink for, like, three months or something," she says. "We worked out all the time."

It hits theaters this year, while the diva's new single, "Public Affair," can be heard on radios June 27. It should be a great summer for fans - unless you wanna see this beauty on a reality TV show again.

"I will never do another reality TV show," she says. "Been there, done that."

Putting supposedly trashy, popular icons such as Britney Spears to shame, Janet Jackson has set a sales record for US Weekly. The recent issue with this sexy songstress on the cover is the best-selling issue of the publication ... ever!

Revealing the secrets to her weight loss, Michael and Tito's sister is hopig for a career revival when her album hits stores in September. She even stopped by the US Weekly offices in Manhattan this week to celebrate.

Reports said that Jackson, typically shy except when her wardrope malfunctions, graciously posed for pictures, greeted fans and even offered staffers encouragement on their own diets.

Jessica Alba is booking movie after movie. After taking over for the airhead known as "Linday Lohan" in one film, Alba will be starring with America's favorite comedian in her following gig.

That's right, Dane Cook will venture onto the big screen alongside Alba in Good Luck Chuck. Seems to us that Cook would be the one with all the luck in this scenario.

The movie is about a serial dater, played by Cook, who gains a reputation for pushing women towards their soulmates inadvertently. Alba will try to stop his unlucky streak. We bet she succeeds!

X-Men editor Mark Helfrich will direct the picture. Filming will begin next month.

As one of television's most popular, well-acted shows, Grey's Anatomy is preparing to receive a handful of Emmy Awards. While looking to buy a dress for the occasion, writer/producer Krista Vernoff has something else to celebrate, as well.

The respected scribe has inked a new two-year deal with Touchstone Television. Under the seven-figure pact, Vernoff has been promoted to executive producer on the smash ABC/Touchstone TV dramady.

Vernoff will work with Grey's creator/executive producer Shonda Rhimes, while also developing new projects. This deal replaces Vernoff's existing one with the studio.

"Krista has really stepped up on Grey's Anatomy and earned a spot as part of the leadership team," Touchstone TV executive vp Julia Franz said. "We've also had a great experience with her in development and look forward to working with her again on her next creation."

Got that?!? Now leave America's sweetheart alone! That's the basic message Aniston has for snooping reporters.

The basis for this latest controversy? The 9.5 carat, canary diamon ring she was recently spotted wearing. Immediately, the gossip mill turned in full swing.

Was Vinnifer finally tying the knot? Was this a response to Brad and Angelina's baby? Oh, and how did Jennifer feel about that birth?

Enough, people. A publicist for the former Friends star said:"Jennifer is past the point of responding to any of these ludicrous rumours."

With the exception of that response, of course.

Mother of the Year candidate Britney Spears reportedly stopped by the local Victoria's Mission Viejo, Calif., to buy pink thongs. Gulp.

Oh, and then she proceeded to change the dirty diaper of son Sean Preston. On the floor. Next to the cash register.

A possibly legitimate eyewitness account has Britney then trying to hand it the soiled diaper to a salesperson, who for some reason refused to take it.

That's puzzling. Doesn't the clerk realize that Britney does whatever she wants? And that the diaper could fetch some serious bucks on eBay?

Lindsay Lohan would be so proud. Reports are surfacing that Mary-Kate Olsen has been dating multiple guys for a weeks now. The source could not confirm whether or not either boyfriend could spot the former Full House star when she turned sideways.

Us Weekly stats that Olsen has been seeing Matt Creed, a "quiet, shy" NYC-based DJ, since April. Good for those kids ... or is it?

On June 10, Mary-Kate was seen dining with her ex, David Katzenber, at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. During her 20th birthday party with twin, Ashley, can you guess who Mary-Kate showed up with?

Katzenberg.

Olsen's rep begged for a new job. He then said: "She's single and has just been having fun with her friends."

As Zach Braff downed drinks, partied with friends and unsuccessfully tried to holler at Jessica Simpson at a West Hollywood hotspot, he looked like just another guy on the prowl.

He is.

A source tells Us Weekly that the 31-year old Scrubs star and Mandy Moore, his girlfriend of the past year and a half, have split.

"There was no drama. They were ready. Mandy was very young when they got together and she wanted to see what's out there, now that she's a woman," says the source, who cited their age gap as the primary reason for the breakup. "Zach was mature, and realized it was time to let her do that."

But not everyone close to the quirky Garden State star/producer is certain that he and Moore, the 22-year old actress and singer, are through with each other.

Christa Miller, Braff's Scrubs co-star, said on the June 12 Howard Stern Show that the couple is still together.

Braff's rep did not return repeated, harassing phone calls. Moore's rep does not comment on her personal life. Moore's rep also declined comment on why he/she does not comment on her personal life.

Double the dirrty.

That's what lucky fans are in for with Christina Aguilera's new album, Back to Basics, when it lands in stores on August 15. MTV reports that the pint-sized, provocative performer is planning to make the release a double disc set.

The RCA records project is led by the single "Ain't No Other Man," which has already been made available for purchase via Apple's iTunes Music Store. Aguilera debuted the track last week at the MTV Movie Awards.

The Pennsylvania native's newest effort finds her paying tribute to soul, jazz and blues from the 1920s, '30s and '40s. Producers DJ Premier and Linda Perry provided her great assistance and promise big things the talented artist.

"They're going to see a whole other side of Christina," Perry told Billboard.com.

We assume she means musically. Unlike a certain pop counterpart of Christina's, who's in the news constantly but never for her music.

Other tracks on Back to Basics include "Save My From Myself" (dedicated to Aguilera's new husband, Jordan Bratman), "Candy Man," "I Got Trouble," "Thank You" (which features sampled bits of Aguilera's breakthrough hit "Genie a Bottle") and "Still Dirrty," described by RCA as a sassy club track.

Aguilera is excited about the double CD, which she describes as a compilation of retro, jazz and pop tracks.

"The first half is based upon working with more beat-driven producers and will use samples and things like that, and then the second disc is all me and Linda Perry," she said. "There are no cover songs, so we made more of a '20s, '30s vibe with an authentic and organic twist."

"There are no samples. It's all live music. One of the songs sounds like you entered a 1920s burlesque club, another sounds like it was actually recorded in the 1920s, using a vintage microphone. It's exciting stuff."

The album, which marks her first new release in nearly four years, has a couple of guest performers as well. Rapper Nas is featured on "Still Dirrty," while Bib Boi of Outkast appears on the remixed version of "Ain't No Other Man."

Christina is also the most recent GQ Magazine cover girl, which should give her new CD a healthy publicity boost. To say the least.
