Jessica Alba for Lindsay Lohan?!? The producers of Bill got the best of that deal this week - and they didn't even need to include any future draft picks.

After the star of Mean Girls dropped out due to a possible scheduling conflict - but more likely a pretentious personality conflict - Alba gladly stepped into the role in this independent film.

She'll join Aaron Eckhart, Elizabeth Banks and Timothy Olyphant in a movie about a man fed up with his job who then finds his wife in bed with a local news anchor. Amazingly enough, Alba found time to play the part while also agreeing to reprise roles in sequels to Fantastic Four and Sin City.

Wait, so you can portray characters in big-time popcorn flicks AND small budget, critical darlings? Amazing. When it comes to life lessons, Lohan apparently hasn't learned this one yet.
