Ellen Pompeo Hesitant to Marry Longtime Beau
According to iVillage.com, a subsidiary of the venerable National Enquirer, there's a reason why actress Ellen Pompeo hasn't wed longtime boyfriend Chris Ivery.
His criminal past.
Sources close to the 36-year old actress, who plays Dr. Meredith Grey on the hit ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy, say she is proceeding with caution when it comes to marriage. Ivery, 38, served 14 months in prison for postal theft and credit card fraud after a 1994 conviction.
While Ivery's past wasn't that important when she was struggling to pay the bills as a waitress, Pompeo may be more concerned with her image now that she's become one of TV's top stars. As she thinks about the future, Ivery may not be as big a part of it as once thought.
"Ellen loves Christopher to death but she can't help feeling that there may be someone else out there better suited for her," a pal told The Enquirer. "She's had a few of her co-stars try to set her up on dates with some well-known bachelors. Ellen declined the offers for now, but she's having second thoughts."
Pompeo and Ivery, a music producer, live together in the Los Angeles area, so things don't appear to be crumbling between them at this point. But if these reports are to be believed, stay tuned. There could be a new hot commodity on the L.A. single scene before long.

People are just fed up and degusted with what has happen to every city in the USA. Until the Black race learns to respect and NOT destroy everything there will never be any harmony. The white people want that to happen, but it will not. If Obama wins that will not help. It's a growth process that has a very long way to go. It will not happen in your life time or children's lifetime.

It was about twenty six years ago when Chris Ivery and I were in the eighth grade together and he invited me to attend the 1981 Boston Celtics season opener against the Detroit Pistons. It was fun attending the opener and watching the young and future world champions, however after the game as Chris and I were on an escalator in the old North Station both of my sneakers toes got pulled in and Chris save me by getting help. I could have lost my feet and in fact both my sneakers had their fronts ripped off. Chris was panicking at first and was prespiring but he gathered his thoughts and ran a quarter mile alerting a transit cop who was able to shut the escalator down before it took off my toes and feet. It blows my mind that Chris is a front row regular attendee of the LA Lakers and other NBA teams with his soul mate Ellen.

I see that an old friend of Chris Ivery and myself Michael Ohalleran responded back on april 12th. His description of Chris is accurate but I,m just wonderiing who the loud mouth jerk named Malden Boy is who posted back on August 29th, and if he was from malden back when Chris was capped by saunders back in 1987 then he sure knows who I am. I'm around Malden still so if you just step up any time instead of hiding behind the name of Malden Boy we can handle business.

I have known Chris Ivery for the past 27 years and can truly say that he is a good man at heart. His brother Nicky and his sister cynthia were raised by miss Ivery in Malden and I am a living witness that Chris and his siblings are well intended people regardless of what urban hoopla they were involved in as youngsters. Who didn't dabble in the ways of tghe streets of malden as a teenager and young adult back in the 80s and 90s anyway. Chris I see that chiliP or also known PA abreviated is out there pluging for you and Ellen. Well, so am I, so don't let all this racial goobligok get you and her. By the way believe it or not and even after all of my troubles I now have a BA in Anthropology and am heading to graduate school. As an anthropologist I can say with authority that ther is no biological distinction for race and the fact is that Miss Ivery was a beutifult white complexioned woman and thisa fact supports my claim that there is no biological distinction for race.
